Great waterfront camping at its Recompense Campground, hiking trails, demonstration animal husbandry and organic gardening. Great place to just wander in or send your kids for a week school.

If you are in the Freeport area, and have some time available, it is a worthwhile day trip to visit Wolfe's Neck State Part, and also Wolfe's Neck Farm. The hiking trails are wonderful at the State Park, and it is certainly a worthwhile site to visit with great views of Casco Bay. The working farm, entrance just to the left of Wolfe's Neck State Park, is a very interesting working farm. From the moment that you drive in at 15 mph, the fields unfold into beauty - and the water views are quite interesting when the tide is both in and out. The fields become populated with animals as you drive in; sheep, cattle, and horses. There is a campground that surrounds the farm, and is very family friendly and secluded from the bustle of the surrounding area. There is a farm store near the main barn, and programs available for children if you are in the area for more than a day. Worth the ride for sure!

Live the fields and barn, fun to poke around the garden and visit with all the animals. They give many educational talks and have a great kids summer camp program.
