My husband & I stopped by recently during a kid-free getaway to Saratoga Springs. We loved the unique experience of having our tasting glasses placed in a glass tier. We've frequented may NY wineries & had never seen anything like it. It really encouraged you to sit & stay awhile, unlike most wineries. They also offered cheese platters, etc, for you to enjoy while you tasted. The inside decor was great & the outside patio looked amazing. Unfortunately we visited during snowy March so it was not yet open, but we hope to return in the warmer season to try it out again.

Came here for Winestock and really enjoyed my time there....the wine was delicious and the cheeses went well with it. They had a food truck there and the food was great...live music with fire pits were real nice late in the evening. Overall, my experience was great here but never received my wine glasses and bought a few bottles of wine...spoke to someone there who said they were going to send them and never did. Don't know if I will be back since they never sent the glasses...after all you get what you pay for and the young lady never packages the glasses in our bag when we left...bummer

It was a rainy, grey miserable afternoon just before Christmas. We had a Groupon coupon for a free wine tasting that expired that day. Kelsey, the manager, was very personable &deficient. When we got there, we were the only folks there. She helped us with the "red" choices. Other people came and went with Holiday purchases. Some obviously were regulars, but Kelsey treated us well.Had a different and nice interlude.

We love to stop at the Saratoga Winery when we visit Saratoga Springs. The staff is always warm and friendly and the winery is very inviting. There is a wide variety for people of all tastes and they have even added local beers and ciders. They serve their tasting in a very attractive flight display and they love to tell you about their wines. We stopped the first day that we were in Saratoga and tasted then purchased a case. On our way out of town, we stopped again for 2 more bottles and saw a familiar face. The manager welcomed me back though I have not seen her in 2 years and then thanked me and wished me a safe trip. Truly, the Saratoga Winery is a great place to visit.

Great wine sampling, friendly staff, outdoor seating with live music, good cheese selection. They even have an outdoor fire pit for the evening. Although we didn't make it that long. Started early :)

We stopped in Friday at the Winery during their Columbus Day Weekend which featured wine, music and food. we had been there previously and enjoyed a delicious wine & cheese tasting. This night we chose to share a bottle of their red wine and a tasty wood fired pizza of broccoli rabe & sausage. They also had several appetizers and a variety of the pizzas available prepared by Grille 64. It was warm enough that fall night to sit outside on the deck (heaters were available too) and were entertained by the versatile Seth Warden Trio. They played for 2 extensive sets and really can play fiddle, percussion and guitar tunes from the 60s to present day. An enjoyable evening and the wine, good food and music mellowed us for the start of a great weekend.

No vinyards to gaze out on, but that aside, this is the best tasting I've ever had. Very inviting with great ambiance. The staff can't do enough for you and the cheese plates are plentiful. Your wine choices arrive on a tower with an explanation in writing of what you picked. There is no downside here. A visit to Saratoga w/o stopping here would be a mistake. Cheers!

This was our first visit to this winery. Very nice experience. Charming outdoor area and the wine tasting selections were excellent. Can't wait to go back!

Husband and I went here on a Friday afternoon. We had the chocolate and wine pairings. Delicious! The atmosphere was quiet and calm. The bar inside is large. The decor is all adirondack themed with large trees making up the actual bar. There is ample outdoor seating in both sun and shade and again, Adirondack themed decor lends to the simple upstate charm. We bought a unique tasting bottle of wine to take home. They have a cheese and wine pairing and you can also get cheese and crackers to go with your choice of tastings. I plan on returning. FYI- check groupon for a deal!

We stopped here on a girls only getaway weekend. Our friend loves wine tastings, and wanted to introduce us to it. Neither of us four girls had ever been here!! The staff were friendly, and knowledgeable. The décor is lovely, and inviting. The wine tasting was fun! They also had a band outside, and a wood burning oven. Everyone was friendly! If it weren't for having to reach our next destination, we would of stayed longer!

Drab, dark, dreary. We were greeted by a waitstaffer who talked too fast and barely noticed us once she delivered the wine flights. And too bad we picked Thursday night to go...it's DJ and Trivia night which are not my favorites and the festivities were piped into the wine tasting room. Too loud for polite conversation. We were served a platter of 5 cheeses to go with our 5 wines but no crackers, not even an offer of one. When we found out later that, yes, they did have crackers and they were complimentary, it was even worse. Get a grip, people. Step it up.

Stopped in to taste some wine and ended up spending a couple of hours. Nice selection of wines, paired with cheese or chocolate($14). Very nice deck with live entertainment on Sunday afternoon. They have specials most nights from pizza to trivia. Staff was very freindly and helpful. 5 tastes for $5, or full glasses for $6. Affiliated with Wagners Winery in the Finger Lakes.

looking for something a bit different to celebrate my daughter's 22nd birthday. Saratoga Winery offered a great and fun experience. The tastings at the table offer 5 different wines in a unique tasting tower. the menu gives a brief description of the wines and you get to pick out which ones you want to taste. there are choices of red, white and desert wines. While none of the wines were extraordinary, the experience was a fun night out. We went on a friday when a band was playing and a food truck offered wood fired pizzas. everyone enjoyed. would recommend this. just a note, it is not in saratoga springs - just outside of town - 3 miles.

Spent a sat afternoon there while attending a wedding. Something to do while we "wasted time".Picked our 5 wines for tasting. They delivery to your table. Nice little spaces of seating. We missed the grilled pizzas and band they advertise as our timing was off. Liked 2 out of the 5. Bought 3 bottles.Do NOT buy those cute little thermal wine Tervis type of cups. We bought 2, both leak. Leaked right into the inner seal so we have wine we can't get to. Also noticed the same type downtown Saratoga so avoid those to. In nother words don't buy any.Enjoyed our time there. Would go back.
