Staff was most wonderful and helpful here! Seating was very comfortable in the club level towards watching the MAAC Basketball Tournament in March. Please note that the restrooms here are located downstairs, and are not on the level of the arena.

The sound was so distorted, it was the the worse I have ever heard from a large arena, won't be going back there for anything to do with music!!!

We've been going here for years. It is perfect. The big groups and names stop here and you can see them from every seat! The acoustics have improved over the years with groups better adapting to the smaller sized building.Ticket takers and security are improved.aLots of parking. Fast exit if you know where. Check the Empire State plaza website or Albany parking authority maps. Best idea is to come downtown, park for good exit strategy, eat, walk, concert, out!

Arena is very difficult to get around. The bathrooms are downstairs and you really need to pay attention because everything looks the same.

A great place to various events but we went for a Albany Devils Hockey game. Venue has a big city feel with great viewing from all areas. Enjoyed ourselves! Parking is also very convenient.

Went with a friend to a concert. Had a great time. Only thing to complain about is the people standing in front of us and we could not see much. Besides that, the location of the Times Union Center is great and is a nice arena .

Visited for a Pop Warner Cheer Comp. Pretty cool lay out and venue. I'd love to catch a hockey game here.Only had 2 issue with staff. Soda went flat at one of the stands and the employees got into a fight over it. Was very unprofessional. The one men's room smelled terrible, like a sewage backup or something. Was nasty! I'd visit again!

This show really was amazing. The lighting production and choreography was outstanding. The staff was really helpful with helping to try and find my seats. I really enjoyed my times union experience. It is a really versatile a venue.

My first time here and I am impressed. Found free parking close to the venue in a safe area (not sure how much venue parking is). Me and my friends were the first ones here. The place seems safe inside and outside. Looked clean from what I saw. One of the workers there had no idea where the line was starting so we ended up switching waiting spots 3 times. Right before they let us in the doors they split the line into 3 lines. Got in quickly and the staff seemed organized. Was down in on the floor in the 1st row off to the right. Sound quality was great and the bass was impressive. Stage is large enough for the venue and none of the bands had any problem with their setup. There was plenty of crowd surfing from fans and nobody got hurt in partial thanks to security doing their job.Did not eat or drink anything here and have no idea what the prices are.Positives:Great sound quality Large stageGetting there early meant getting up close (front row!)Security was greatNegatives:Nothing notableOverall: Excellent, support rock!

It isn't so big that you get lost, yet great venues. Comfortable and tickets are reasonable. I have been to a few events with children and I feel secure and I find the facilities reasonably clean.

First of all, the bathrooms are ALL located in the basement and if you are sitting in the upper rows, it is a very long trip to the bathroom. Surprisingly, it seems that this facility is not handicap accessible. Not sure how they get away with it. The seats are old and uncomfortable, the staff is almost non-existent or invisible, and the traffic to get to the location in downtown Albany is unforgiving.

We saw Paul McCartney there the being of July 2014, and it was great. We had great seats, the view was great and the sound was great. Wonderful concert.

The center is a somewhat older venue and, as such, there are extremely long lines for the inadequate ladies rooms. The venue holds about 13,000 people and most of the seats in the lower section provide a good view of the concert stage, even those seats most distant from the stage. Paul McCartney played for three hours and is a must-see!
