this is a near-by place where you can still get away from it all, so to speak. Situated on the Long Island Sound, with distant views of the Manhattan skyline - just visible - along with a beautiful vista looking East to the horizon over the LI Sound. Clean, calm, relaxing…so pleasant for walking or just sitting and staring….ahhh…..

I lived here several years ago. Would come to the park often and found it a great place to unwind, relax and enjoy natural beauty.

Manor Park is an historic seaside park with a beautiful view of the yacht basin and beyond. It is a popular place for photographers, picnics and dog-walkers.

A pleasant view of the local shoreline in Larchmont. Nice to have the calming water wash away your cares.

I love to ride my bike to the park and read on the rocks overlooking the water. Plenty of places to sit and hideaway while enjoying the nice weather. Good for long walks with beautiful scenery.

Just a walk to this park makes you feel like you are on vacation. With it's gazebos and its rocks it is absolutely beautiful. Never crowded, you can see Connecticut and Long Island. Just a great place to sit and relax and enjoy the beauty of the Sound

I've been going to Manor Park for over 70 years and it has been a refuge, a place of contentment, a romantic walk and a great place to watch the sailboats from Larchmont Yacht Club.

Small park separated by rocks from Long Island Sound. Crowded on nice days, though there's not much to do. Rules forbidding food and even soft drinks are strictly enforced by a park patrol. There are no toilet facilities. Parking is next to impossible. A "virtual" country club for those who don't belong to one and instead find a patch of ground to set up a folding chair and imagine that they're somewhere else. Don't bother.

Manor park is a great place to take a stroll and sit quietly with a book looking out at the L I sound. They have benches, large rocks, and a gazebo to sit on or in.

Manor Park in Larchmont, NY is one of the places that you have no clue exists, and then when you do visit, you can't wait to go back again. The park is serene and calming. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of people there but it's like you have your own little piece of the park and don't really notice anyone. There is a dog beach where you can bring your dogs to swim and it's always packed. There are a few private beach clubs that are for Larchmont residents only, but the majority of the park is open to anyone. It's truly beautiful here! There are beautiful rocks to sit on overlooking the water. It's very tempting to jump right in the water and swim!

I lived up the street from Manor park and I would go there to relax and enjoy the Long Island sound, the quiet and rippling of the water calms and clears your head nice cool breeze to feel on your face....close your eyes for a moment and breathe just listening to the sounds of the water and watch the sail boats in the distance, Love the seating lots of rocks to sit on and grass for a picnic. has a path to walk all around the water front. You wont be disappointed .

A place for enjoying nature, for meditating and for being at peace. A lovely park on the sound where birds and children play and adults relax.

Manor Park winds around the Long Island Sound, and also includes Manor Beach. It is a one-of-a-kind site. A magnet for residents and visitors, it is open to the public till dusk. The landscape architects Olmstread and Vaux had a hand in its late 19th century design. Seats are often stone perches in the site's stone boulders and the natural materials of the park are used in paths and steps. Iconic structures--two gazebos, and a small Umbrella Point are outlooks to the ever-changing sea views.A small natural harbor serves as home for a boat club, part of the park's 13 acres.

The park and surrounding area is picture perfect. The beach is private and the park is more of an adult spot as there aren't kids running round or swing sets etc. the views of the sound are exquisite. I don't believe you can picnic, but there are benches and a great park to stroll.
