The Michie Stadium is an excellent venue for sporting events and games. Parking is limited and lines can be quite long, so arrive early. Plan to show a photo ID at the entry gates into West Point and possibly have your vehicle searched. The enthusiasm and Army team spirit are contagious. The Cadets are extremely zealous about their home team, and the views from the bleachers are simply breathtaking. If you have a chance to attend a football game at Michie Stadium, do it! And get there early.

Michie Stadium is located in a beautiful setting next to a reservoir. The games are a lot of fun, with canons firing when Army makes a touchdown, lots of chanting and enthusiasm, Be sure and go really early to the game as lines of cars to get into West Point are super long. Park where they direct you and take the shuttle to the stadium. Benches are hard so bring a blanket or cushion.

There is no place like Michie for a college football experience - West Point, The Corps, the tradition and pageantry, and the incomparable view - combine for a tremendous experience.

SI wrote that Michie Stadium is one of the prettiest stadiums in the country, so when Rice visited, I wanted to go!! It happened to be, as others have said, a raw rainy morning, raining all the way up to the first few minutes of the game.Security is really tight, plan for delays getting on the grounds md into the game.I was with a Rice alumni group and we were expected and it helped.I loved, loved, the whole corps stands the whole game..as they do at Texas A&M.

Not only is watching a home West Point Black Knight football game exciting, but seeing the enthusiasm of the Corps of Cadets is so inspiring! They stand for the entire game and truly are "the 12th man"!! Be sure to go early to watch the parade review on the Plain, and see the pre-game activities at Black Knight alley!

The team still competes well in spite of its recruiting disadvantages, but perhaps they should consider "The Ivy League". You can't beat Michie and the entire atmosphere on a Fall Saturday afternoon, whomever the opponent is! I wish they'd win more---Go Army,

There is NOTHING quite like Army football. Michie is worth a visit even if there isn't a football game. It's absolutely beautiful!

This has always been on our "bucket list" of must see an do. Glad we did was there for Army v Rice game. Lines form extra early to get in for parking. Great energy, great crowd, cadets fun marching in, band, team energy. Was a co,d wet rainy day but rain stopped before game. Was a thrill to see Army team so energized. Fans so dedicated trying to cheer Army on even tho we lost. A must do experience

In their century wrapup issue in '99, SI called Michie one of their top 10 venues ever to see an event and they werent wrong! The Corps, the views, the walk in --- you can feel Col Blaik and the Blanchard and Davis still inside! I've been to 8 of the SI top 10 list I just mentioned (some more than once) and this Michie still gives me the goosebumps!

Scenery absolutely gorgeous. Cadets so much fun to watch especially all the mascots, A man we talking about you! The cadets always put on an entertaining game, and there are Mules & cannons and the politest crowd you will ever see at a college football game we tried getting a beach ball up in the air & people kept trying to return it or find the owner! Go early tail gate & see the cadets on the parade ground go to the museum, these are our future Army officers, a rich history here, go see an Army football game & be extra nice to the plebes. Plebes need love.

my husband and I took our kids to the army VS rice game yesterday the security getting into the game is crazy they need to open more gates to get people in quicker there where still people waiting to get in at the start of the second quarter. they also need more food places the lines are very long other then that we had a great time at the game

Have been here multiple times. The whole gameday experience is the definition of family friends and fun...wonderful facilities, festive atmosphere and an occasional win make this place a must go to if you're a fan of football...

My father travels in a wheelchair and the services provided at Michie Stadium were excellent. The handicap parking was ready with many wheelchair accessible buses that took us right to the gate closest to the wheelchair seating. The wheelchair seating had ample room for companions and was undercover to protect us from the 3 hours of rain.

This football venue offers some of the most unique visuals one could ever hope for. It is (nearly) Big Time college football with all the excitement, but adds the cadet presence, the march-ons, the pomp and circumstance......all very cool. It is a very worthy destination, though the traffic in and out and the parking are less than great. But that's the price you pay to be watching 21st century experiences in a 19th century location. All very fun and interesting.

I am retired Army and my wife is a West Point graduate. We are Army football season ticket holders and we love going to West Point to watch football. Michie Stadium sits on top of the hill and the parking is not the best, but Army Football and tailgating is awesome. Great time with active, retired and Cadets alike. Great atmosphere, great march on's, see West Point at its finest. You must come and see a game if you are in the area, but remember, come early, traffic can be slow.
