Always stop by here on our trips out to Long Island! A farm stand on steroids! People that work there are helpful and the cashiers friendly! Always pick up the local produce as well as delicious jams.Food is fresh and prices are reasonable.

If your into peach picking this is the place to go. Lots of trees and lots of great peaches. It' a great place to take the kids and grandkids. This place is easy to find and lots room to go from tree to tree making your selections. Love this place, great peach farms and also other fruit farms by Lewin all around this area as well.

Yesterday was our 12th year going to Lewin's to pick and cut our Christmas trees. Last year was really crowded (we always go the Saturday after Thanksgiving) and this year not so much. The staff is very good and the prices for the trees are reasonable and haven't gone up in a few years (12 years ago they were $25 now they're $35). We were dropped off in an area that didn't have as many trees and did have to walk a bit to find a good section. Noticed that they appear to be running out of trees even though they do have acres and acres of trees. That being said, it is a great way to get your Christmas tree and we will be going back next year.

I moved to Wading River exactly a year ago in October, and this was the first place I went grocery shopping. One of the employees started to recognize me after a little bit, and this adorable little produce stand started to feel like home. Most of the leafers come out here to go apple or pumpkin picking, and honestly, it is the greatest place to go if you don't mind the rush. Berry picking is also prime, and the people who man the stands are always friendly and pleasant, no matter the weather. But my FAVORITE thing to do is browse the aisles as the smell of fresh earth, ripening produce, and fragrant herbs fill my lungs. I love everything from here - potatoes, their own cheddar cauliflower, corn, mint, and green onions. There's nothing Lewin Farms can't do right.I have an 8 month old, and I take him with my every time I go shopping. I love seeing his eyes soak up the pure locality of living right on the edge of a farm. I can't wait until he's older and I can further teach him about the joys of buying local and experiencing the farm-to-table lifestyle.Thank you so much to everyone who makes Lewin the most amazing place to be. You enrich our community every time you dig through the dirt and pick the most delicious parts of my meals every single day.

Expensive, crowded, but the workers are nice and they do have everything and more. Just not my favorite farm area

I took my family out for a day of apple picking, and to my horror Lewin Farms was by far the dirtiest and poorly maintained apple orchard I have visited on Long Island! To begin with, I could not believe that the rows of apples were not labeled! You had no idea whether you were picking macs or cortlands. How hard would it have been to put signs up at the ends of the rows? You could not help but notice how dirty the area was. There was garbage and tons of rotten apples down each row, we even saw a carcus of a woodchuck that had to be there a long time as well as another animal decomposed outside the area. It was clear that no one maintained the land. The grass where we're walking to pick the apples looked like it was never cut to accommodate customers, I felt like it was so unkept to a point where I had to worry about ticks! I even felt like the apples were dirty too! They all had a coat of white! I will never bring my family there again! There are nicer orchards to visit in the fall,it was really a disappointment to me and my family.

We always come here for a day of relaxing with the family and picking good, fresh fruits. The farm is quite big and sometimes you can get sweet corn to eat at the farmstand. When you call ahead before making the trip out there (it was over an hour for us) you know if you will be allowed to pick your own fruits or vegetables. A GPS will take you on the long route. I prefer to get directions from Google or MapQuest which brings you there faster. The portapotties are not the best, they could use some servicing as we discovered on our trip. They could also add more portapotties for the weekend crowds.

Lewin Farms has fields of produce which you can pick for yourself or you can buy it in their farm stand. Prices are a bit high, but I guess they factor in the amount of berries and fruit you eat while picking!!! When shopping at their stand, produce is clearly labeled as to what comes from their farm, what was locally grown and the remainder is the same stuff you buy in supermarkets when it is not in season locally. Its a nice way to spend some time and a great way for kids to see where the produce they eat comes from.

Went the first weekend of July to pick-your-own raspberries and blueberries. The picking was bountiful and it was easy for the most part with very young kids. The picked fruit is sold by the pound. The grounds were a bit messy so be careful not to trip on branches and twigs. Otherwise, a wonderful way to spend a day.

Depending on the season, you can pick your own pumpkins, strawberries, peaches, tomatoes, and more. Or you can just shop at the large indoor farm stand and pick your produce off the shelf. The prices are cheaper than at the supermarket. On Fall weekends they sell roasted corn.
