This is an old Dutch colonial house used as a military headquarters during the American Revolution, complimentary to Washington's Headquarters and the New Windsor Contonement.

This site is only opened in the summer. The staff has put together a wonderful exhibit to illustrate the role this building and its occupants played in the American Revolution. the staff is well informed and the grounds well maintained in historical period.

This is one of my favorite little out of the way places to visit. Be sure to check when they are open..A wonderfully restored home and plenty of history
