I got the apple cider donuts here and they were quite delicious. I also like that you can either buy pre-picked baskets or select your own. Always a variety of goodies available.

This orchard is one of many in the area and is actually a lot larger than you would expect from the nondescript entrance. Upon entering the orchard you should visit the farm store to buy a bag to fill with apples. I chose the smaller bag which was about nine dollars and fit plenty of apples for two people. The people working here are friendly and the apples are crisp and tasty. However, when we went - mid October- many of the apple trees were getting quite depleted and the selection was down to mostly one or two types of apple (mostly Cortland). I would recommend getting a device that will help you grab the larger apples on the higher branches. The land is lovely to walk around, there is a small lake at the back of the orchards. And we were allowed to bring our dog. It was one of the few places where we felt safe letting him walk off his leash as the orchard extends quite a ways back from the road. The one recommendation I would have for visitors is to go earlier in the apple season to get a larger selection of larger fruit. For the business I would recommend printing out maps of the orchard. I have seen this done at other orchards and it was a nice help. There was almost no one there when we went, which made the visit peaceful and relaxing, but it also made it a bit more alarming when we got totally lost among the trees. Perhaps you will have better navigation skills! There is also a farm shop where you can buy local fruit and vegetables as well as a variety of baked goods like giant cookies and cider doughnuts. There were pies and apple cider and during some days/hours they also sell hard cider. They were doing a tasting of the hard cider on a day we stopped by.
