My husband and I happened upon an outdoor tasting. The setting was lovely with some of the grapevines in sight. The wines were dry for our liking, but good. The tasting room is tiny, but we got a tour and a lesson on wine making. The owners shared their passion for wine and I gained an appreciation for the process. Definitely worth a stop.

Victory View Vineyard is a great stop on the Hudson Valley wine trail. It is the only stop that I've recommended to others. They just opened up this summer and have been growing grapes onsite since 2008. They are the first winery I've been to in this part of NY state that produces wine with ONLY their grapes. The wines (4 types atm) are truly unique and have wonderful flavor. I was blown away by their flavorful reds. Other who know this region will know that it is not a red producing region. Their whites are also quite unique, tart for me, but my fiance loved them both. We went home with both a bottle of red and a bottle of white. We will definitely be stopping through in the future. I would highly recommend making the trip.

Recently opened for wine tours and tastings. Owners, Gerry and Mary, are very knowledgeable and passionate about their wines. Went with friends and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, especially the wonderful wines we tasted.Well worth the trip, a lovely way to spend an afternoon! Visit their great web site to set up a visit.
