Friendly people, great support for our day trip from Second Pond to Ampersand Bay. It's a beautiful paddle with lots of spots to fish, swim and picnic. ALTO were very flexible accomodating our schedule - it was pouring rain on our originally scheduled date, but it was no problem to bump the trip back a day. Note for families with kids considering the Second Pond to Ampersand Bay paddle - watch out for headwinds and plan your time accordingly. We'll definitely go with these guys again.

Great group of laid back knowledgable guys who set us up with kayaks, dry bag, life jackets and a map. Rides to/from launches.

4 of my buddies and I spent last weekend in the Saranac Lake region canoeing and hiking. We used ALAT outfitters for our canoes and couldnt have been happier. They had up to date equipment, competitively priced, were very knowledgable of the area and accomodated everything we needed. Dropped us off on thursday and picked us up friday morning.Thanks again!
