Go here for a beer-and-a-burger experience on the beach. We didn't have the food this time, but I can say it's quite popular and has vegetarian options (though 95% of the menu is burgers and fries). Nice beer options, though, and frequent live music make this a great place to sit late into the evening. Note there is a playground next door, so you can send kids over there (a little too far to send really little ones without an adult, though), where they'll be able to enjoy the music while the other adults enjoy a drink and relax back at the bar! Outdoor picnic table seating make it perfectly acceptable for kids to join you at the restaurant most evenings and all-day weekdays. On the weekends during the day and Saturday evenings, though, it's more of a party/bar environment I'd probably avoid with the kids.
