This walking and biking trail is about a 6-mile loop, with nearly half of the distance following right along the shore of the Allegheny River between St. Bonaventure University and Olean. It is well-paved and maintained, so it's great to come here with bikes, strollers or even wheelchairs. The section away from the river runs behind a lot of stores and businesses, none of which seem to have any services for people on the trail; so if you're out for a nice walk, I think you'd be better off just turning around on the path by the river and coming back the way you came.

I love to take my dog for walks on the trail. Only drawback is the lack of trash bins along the trail. If you travel the trail be prepared to carry your garbage/doggy bags for the duration.
