Every year we take the family to Gardens of Spring creek To see the lights It's a lovely evening and is one of the delightful things to do in northern Fort Collins

All ages will love the Garden of Lights this year. Carrots, purple cone flowers, butterflies, tomatoes on the vine, lights that change colors while you watch and so much more await your visit. All they ask is that you make a $2 donation voluntarily. Don't miss it. We walked through it twice on 12/18 and may go again. Our drive to Denver and the $20 we spent for Blossoms of Light this year was a total waste compared to the Garden of Lights.

Though I am a local resident, I had not visited this attraction before December 2014, when a friend invited me to see the lights. I was pleasantly surprised at the care taken with this light display and the precision of details. It was beautiful & unlike ant light display I had seen before. The staff & volunteers were very helpful & the hot cider on a cold night was a welcome treat. This event is also great for kids, as the 5 year old I our party could attest to. Visit the lights between December 5 - January 4.

from plant sales, classes, to the garden of lights, the Spring Creek Gardens are a treat for plant lovers and the little ones. They also offer some unique camps and classes for kiddos.

Nice views of the foothills, even though close to downtown and campus. Informative place to research plants and trees. Spring Creek path is very close, but no dogs are allowed in the gardens.

I truly loved this park. All decked out for autumn with scarecrows and fall decorations. We had no little ones along, but we thought the children's section was fun & educational. We visited on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, and were surprised there was no crowd. There is a pretty gazebo with a plant covered roof, gorgeous outdoor kitchen, fish pond, berms that make you think "I could do that", and interesting climate facts etched in sidewalk.

Advertised as a botanical garden, there are a few plantings and a nursery. Plants are for purchase, but it really wasn't worth the time.

Oh what a fun place to stop & stretch your legs. Like others are saying the children's area is not to be missed. Wish I had the grandkids with us.

The gardens were beautiful. The children's garden was amazing. I can't believe the effort they put into it. I would take my nieces there in a heartbeat. The vegetable gardens were also very interesting. The gardens were right across from the conference I attended and I went there everyday at noon to eat my lunch.

Lovely to walk around during any season but also with some very informative workshops for gardeners done by staff. I've also appreciated buying starter plants in the spring and day lilies during their special annual day lily sale. I am a better gardener because of Gardens on Spring Creek.

This has a children's garden to entertain the little ones. There are benches to sit and relax and enjoy the hard work these great people do.

This is a nice place to just get outside & enjoy nature. The flowers are beautiful & the location is usually not very busy. It is a pleasant place to just get away from it all for a bit.

This is an excellent little walk to take either as a couple, or take out of town guest, and anyone with kids. The children's garden is so much fun for them. Adults will like seeing all the different gardens.

I brought my mother here for her birthday on a mother/daughter outing. She was visiting from the Midwest and just thought it was beautiful. I really enjoyed it. The staff was knowledgeable and invited us back for the winter light display. We didn't miss that either and visited again in December 2013. This is a great place if you are looking for something to brighten your day with a little fresh air too.

My husband and I loved visiting the Winter lights display. It was amazing and something that we had never seen before. The lit pond really caught our eye but we also enjoyed every display. Now we are going back to view the Gardens in April which will be like visiting a whole new place. Can't wait.
