We've stayed at Warner field for the Telluride Bluegrass festival for a couple years and used the Town Park facilities for that, and we stayed in Town Park after the Imogene Pass Run one year. It is a great spot for car camping.Great location- you can walk to main street quicklyKid's playground, hiking trails, river, and community pool are all right thereShower/bathroom facilities are cleanReally fun town in the summer (and winter)Bring quarters for the shower. My only advice is to try and get the hot water sorted as soon as you put those quarters in and then put your phone alarm on to let you know when your five minutes is up- otherwise get ready for an intense cool rinse. I can still hear the clank of the pipes that shuts off the hot water and then seconds later recently melted snow blasts your entire body. Not fun when you have long thick hair that is full of conditioner. There isn't much else to say- it is your typical campground but given that it is in Telluride it makes it a really affordable option for summer adventures. I love it.

This is the perfect park in a most perfect location we were there for a concert and the music reverberated off the mountain making the sound seem incredible.

this place is so nice. in the summer, everyone is playing games here, there are concerts here, the fireworks of the 4th...then there is camping....everything is here...real community space

There is NOTHING to dislike about Town Park. This is a perfect setting for the numerous festivals, concerts and holiday parties that are thrown here annually. The 360 view from the center of Town Park will make you want to just sit in the center of the park even if NOTHING is going on (which is rare) :)

We were there for the 2014 Telluride Jazz Festival and what a place for a music festival it is! The stage is in the middle of the park, which is in the middle of the town. The town is nestled in a box canyon, surrounded bt magnificent mountain peaks. And that is what you see from the stage area - mountains in every direction. It is a music venue like none other. And the park also offers nice amenities - good bathrooms with showers, kiddie playgrounds, nice picnic areas and beautiful natural areas. A river runs through it and a gorgeous waterfall provided my wife with a lovely, secluded meditation spot. Really nice campgrounds, too. Great place - terrific vibe - felt like Woodstock.

Town park is located at the far end of town. There is a ball field, picnic tables, etc. A creek runs adjacent to the park and appears to be popular with dog owners and tubing.

No matter what we have on the agenda for the day, we usually end up at Town Park for a part of it. We bring our own baseball bats and baseballs, along with soccer balls and footballs and create our own family games. There's always plenty of room for all different people and their activities. Great park!

This may be the most perfect campground we have ever seen! It is extremely clean and well laid-out, with nice sites including some (ours, luckily) along the San Miguel River. The bathroom is clean and handy, with showers available ($3 for hot water) and large sinks out back for cleaning dishes and/or gear. The campground is part of the town’s city park, so it offered ball fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, a fishing pond, and a swimming pool, in addition to the trailheads and river trail. (And WiFi, which is nice at a campground!) The views in all directions are amazing. We are tent campers, so we were pleased that it wasn’t filled with huge RVs with loud generators. Best of all, it is just a 5-minute walk from the town of Telluride, so we could stay here and enjoy the fantastic community of Telluride without ever getting in our car! We came for one night but stayed for two because it was so perfect. I’m sure the campground fills up quickly, so we hope we can find a spot the next time we come to town!

Great for the kids to burn energy on the play grounds, fishing pond, streams. They have a center to give you fishing poles; lots of fun.

It's a solid walk from the shuttle drop off to the sledding area, especially with 3 little ones, sleds, lunch and a stroller with 2 feet of fresh powder on the ground, but town park is a beautifully fantastic spot in telluride. The ice skating area and warming but is a bonus.

Whether you want to play ball, stroll, walk the dog, trout fish, paddle in the stream, go tubing, or just sit and watch people, Telluride's town park is not to miss. It's a beautiful example of how to harness the beauty of the area in one small package (but not too small!). Pea gravel pathways meander around the edges of ponds and streams, under trees, over bridges, and if you take your dog, the town has placed doggie-do bag posts here and there, to help keep the place clean. Any time of day is great to enjoy this park, but I have especially enjoyed the early mornings just around when the sun peaks out over the mountain tops, and watching the steam rising from all the ponds. Lovely.

This is a good place for a picnic or a game of frisbee. The restrooms are a bit far from some locations, but it's got ball fields, a small community pool (which appeared to be free), a sledding hill in winter, playground equipment, and an adjacent campground. The views of the mountains are spectacular.

We were sorry that there was so little on when we visited this time, it is a nice place for a walk, but we have previously seen broom ball here which we greatly enjoyed, this trip there was very little to be seen apart from some tobogganing on the hill!

Smack in the middle of town, its convenient and still fairly pretty, but crowded and not as authentic as going up the mountains like Alta Lakes. Its a fun park to hang out at, but I wouldn't camp there.

Telluride Town Park is awesome during the festivals of Blue Grass, Blues and Brews etc. It is a great place to mingle with the locals and with people from all over. Definitely a great site to one day see an electric music festival take place with guest dj's like david ghetto, steve aoky, Hardwell etc.
