If you're in Glenwood and enjoy history, this is an interesting stop. Depending on the time of year the hike up may be snowy or muddy. Doc's grave is only an estimate, as the records for the cemetary were lost years ago. He's there, but nobody knows exactly where.

The view is great, and if you're at all interested in history, you'll get a nice fix here. The trail is steep, however. I know many people who would not have made it to the top without stopping frequently. Bring some cards, coins, tobacco, or alcohol for Doc Holliday! I'm sure he would appreciate it.

Yes this is where the famous Tombstone, Val Kilmer portrait, Doc Holliday is laid to rest. It's a short hike up an easy grade to a great view of the city, with which you can also take in some history. "it's a daisy if ya do".

This might be fun for families. I went with my husband. It was a cemetery. Not that exciting. The information on Kid Curry and Doc Holliday was interesting, but not worth the hike. There are more interesting hikes in Glenwood.

Interesting, moderate hike. Pretty view. Resting stops on the climb up. Love the Western history. Worth the walk up. Memory making.

Interesting but would have liked to see more historical facts posted than the 2 signs. CAUTION!!!!! We encountered a bear on the way up there Sept 13.

Old cemetery where headstones mostly are from the 1800s. Not well maintained. Doc Holliday is buried somewhere in the cemetery but as the plot maps were lost, not sure where.

Cool history behind the cemetery and the graves of Kid Curry, as well as Doc Holiday. Dic Holiday is apparently buried in the forgotten "Potters" area for the unlucky and unwealthy with a grave stake that has since degraded.Trail is a little steep at a point with uneven gravel. Great views to the right of GWS half way up.A fine gem and fine history.

The short hike is steep but it was worth it for the history held within the cemetery. We heard several people complain about the hike but it wasn't that bad. The cemetery struggles to maintain everything and the display cases did not have much, but the historical signs about Doc Holliday and Kid Curry were very informative and there were good signs at the start of the hike as well. Interesting that they know that these two were buried there but no one knows where. The views of Glenwood are good. Guess dead people need a good view.

The cemetery (where Doc Holliday is memorialized) is a short hike up a fairly steep hill. It is not difficult, however, and once you reach the cemetery it is an interesting little place. We walked around for about 30 minutes with our two young kids, found the memorial to Doc Holliday and left. Not much else to do here.

The hike is short and quite easy with great views of Glenwood Springs. Doc Holliday's 'alleged' grave (no one is sure exactly where he is buried in the cemetery) was well sign posted and the information at the cemetery was very informative. This is well worth the hike up.

And a good hike above town with good views. History side-hike. Nice time see the local historical societies work and efforts - kudos to them for the info, upkeep and preservation.

This cemetery is very old and interesting. There is a short hike to get to it and it overlooks beautiful Glenwood Springs. Two famous people, Doc Holiday and Kid Curry, are buried here but nobody knows exactly where their grave is located. I recommend a visit to this cemetery and give yourself time to wander around and read the headstones and take it in. A trip to Glenwood Springs insn't complete without making this visit.

Doc holidays grave site is a small hike, but steep! If oassing through town it is a nice quick stop where you can stretch your legs with a quick hike and some old weat history.

nice hike but is Doc Holiday really buried there? go early- gets very hot at mid-day and bring water- no facilities around
