berthoud brewing company

This brewery/tap room is on a side street in Berthoud, off the main drag and very easy to miss. We sampled all of the beers on tap, and were surprised at how many we all really liked. Sometimes you go to a small brewery and only find one or two that really stand out. But that wasn't the case at the Berthoud Brewing Company. The atmosphere was very laid back and it was easy to carry on conversation and enjoy the beer. The only issue we saw was lack of snacks or food. You can bring your own in, but since we were new to the brewery we didn't know that. However, it did NOT take away from our appreciation of the beer! Looking forward to going back!

This brewery has an awesome tap room and a great environment. It is all themed around the beers and the local history which I found really neat! The beer itself is outstanding and well worth a trip in. I sampled all the beers on tap and enjoyed all of them but found the fire ban and the switch track were my favorite two! I would recommend it to anyone, families were in there with their children and it was a very family friendly environment. The kids had games to play and sodas, the patio outside had some awesome misting fans and the table was a big community table. All in all a great visit and a place I can't wait to visit again!
