My wife, son, daughter-in-law and I did the glass-blowing class at Franklin Glassblowing and thoroughly enjoyed it. Jose was an excellent teacher and explained everything well, and helped us throughout the lessons. The end products, which we got to pick up the next day, were truly hand blown by each of us and will be conversation pieces throughout the years.

We happened to stop by the studio as my Mother is an artist interested in glass blowing. While there was no shop per say, a class was starting and being tourists, the owner invited us to sit in and we did. Great to see the basics demonstrated! If he had a gift shop it would be perfect! ;)

I had seen this groupon a few times and finally decided to get it and I am so glad i did. With Jose Santisteban careful instruction we crafted our own pieces and used the colors of our choosing. You will have to wait for your pieces until the next day but the end results are fantastic. A wonderful class and a great learning experience.

I went here for a family outing over the holidays and participated in the class. Take it from someone who is terrible at art, this is really fun. Jose is really good at what he does and walks you through every step of the process. He allows you to choose from a couple of colors and the finished product is a small round globe. I learned a bit in the process and am looking forward to picking up my finished project, which will be a great keep sake. If you're just there for the shopping, there are some beautiful pieces to choose from too.

I took my two young adult daughters to one of the classes and it was so much fun. We each got to watch as others made a glass ornament and then we each made one. It is exciting and fun. we stayed about two hours. I had a groupon so it was $55 each for two of us and $65 for the other. So a little expensive, but a different kind of fun holiday outing. And we each got the beautiful glass ornament that we made to keep.
