The center is a place that is visited from all over the country. On special weekends and events, they have affordable classes so you can check out the craft just to see if you like it. if you get there during the week, they have a beautiful gift shop, featuring local artist and students. The Red Bud Cafe is also a great place to have lunch.

I could spend a lot of time here. Always love there Christmas Open house, and the displays in the galleries

It's on the satellite campus of TN Tech. where artists are there in residence. The gallery is always changing and has local art including glass blowing, pottery to woodworking. We usually buy Christmas and birthday gifts here. The items are high quality and reasonable.

I could spend a lot of time here, it is a place that smells like wood and kinda like a old Hardware store when I was a kid;-) The craftsmen are very friendly and encourage involvement in the different crafts. ;-) Make this a stop if your in the area for sure;-)

This school is an icon and the works of arts and crafts are truly impressive. The campus is an enclave of American master artists and their students with displays that are exceptional.

ACC has some of the best crafts training in the South, and its shop is filled with museum-quality work. I always come away wanting more than I can afford. Great place.

Located 10 minutes off I40 just west of Cookeville, TN is the Appalachian Center for Crafts. This satellite campus of TTU is a craftsman's mecca. The beauty of the surroundings is inspiring in itself. The facilities are first class and the Gallery is full of regional and student work that is both creative and of the highest standards. Grab your credit card and shop, you will pay top dollar, but the quality of the work is worth it. You may purchase one of the first pieces of a soon to be famous craftsman. AND... don't forget the Cafe-the food there is also creative and delicious. It is always worth the trip.

About 10 to 15 minutes south of Interstate 40, the Appalachian Center for Craft. For anyone who wants to see or purchase beautiful craft works, this is a short side trip.In addition to a very interesting gallery, the scenery alone is worth the visit. Just off the drive which enters the property, is a scenic overlook. Don't miss this added attraction.

A career in fine and utility art is a cornerstone of these digs!! The faculty is great, the students dedicated and their work is off the chart..... There is a gallery and, a store...a must to take in and invest in real creation!!!

Students at the Center for Craft exibit in the attached "gift shop" with frequently changing exhibits of their work. Go several times a year for a good taste of fine crafts. Open houses allowing visitors into the workshops occur several times a year.
