We have been canoeing to several Tennessee rivers with several different companies. The usual price to rent a canoe ranges from $40-$45 with one place we went, we only paid $35. JBEEZ is the most expensive by far. For two of us to rent a canoe, they charged $80. Then they have the audacity to charge for canoe insurance. The dropped us off at a government ran dock by the dam and picked us up at another government ran dock. The ride to and from the river was minimum 20 minutes. A friend of ours had a pin hole in his canoe when he rented it and had to scoop water out of his canoe throughout the entire 9 miles. JBEEZ refused to partially compensate him for his troubles. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this canoe rental company.
