My first experience with the Ocoee River is one that I will never forget - tops whitewater in Colorado! Our guide, Lance, was lively and knowledgeable, keeping us out of trouble while testing our abilities and making sure everyone was having a blast. The company seems to have an advantage with quality guides - especially Lance - each has years of experience and it shows. Highly recommend to everyone looking for some adventure!!

We spent the day Sunday with Cherokee Rafting celebrating my daughter's r 12th birthday. She was so excited that she was finally old enough to go rafting that we invited 5 of her friends and had her party on the water. It was Absolutely Amazing!!!! It was my first time white water rafting and I loved it. Lance was our guide and he was very nice, friendly, and fun. He kept us under some small waterfalls making sure we got soaked, the water was cool, but is was a lot of fun. We did the upper river and it wasn't challenging at all.

Cherokee is hands-down, the best rafting company I've ever worked with. Blake and his team are well above the standard, and I would know- this was my 7th time rafting with a group. I brought 60 people. We were treated with the utmost respect and care. Our group had a blast. Also, on a side note, Josh is hilarious, personable, and fun to be around (he was my raft guide, and I will personally ask for him if I can come back). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Cherokee is the ONLY company that we will raft with. They are friendly and professional. The workers have always seemed to really put safety first, but make sure that everyone is having an awesome time. We have rafted with Cherokee 3 times and have never had a bad guide. Thank you!

Overall a great trip! We used this company to raft down the middle Ocoee. The rafting was great and lots of fun! Our rafting guide was also great... worked hard to make sure we hit the fun rapids while keeping everyone safe. He was also very entertaining!Overall a great value too as prices were very reasonable for a 2-3hr trip.I would book a trip with them again, and will likely do so in the future!

I am not much of a thrill seeker. However I decided that it was time to raft down the Ocoee being that I have lived in this area my entire life! My good friend from High School Blake is the River Manager at Cherokee and he took excellent care of us. I expressed my fears and concerns to him and he assured me that they would take care of me and Boy did they!!!!! I was placed with an amazing guide Alicia! She was perfect for me and made me feel extremely comfortable! It was an unforgettable experience and I will most definitely be coming back several times a year! It was a BLAST!!!!! I am the coordinator for an outdoor program at a major university. I have been down the Ocoee River with several rafting companies in the 8-plus years I've been in the field. Now, I only use Cherokee Rafting for our trips on the Ocoee. They are experienced, they keep you safe, and they do their best to make sure you have a great time. You will see a lot, and I mean most, of the other rafting companies that miss the mark for on keeping it enjoyable from start to finish. A lot of companies are barking and shouting at their participants from the moment they get the raft in the water. Especially for first-timers, the barking and shouting can cause a lot of nervousness, which can lead to panic, which can lead to someone getting unnecessarily injured. The guides for Cherokee Rafting speak calmly and effectively to all of the participants. There is never a sense of impending doom. Also, the prices at Cherokee Rafting are very competitive with the other companies. There may be one or two that have cheaper rates, but not by much. I feel confident that Cherokee Rafting is by far the best bang for your buck. I would recommend a guide, but I've had all good guides in my 4 trips with them. The Ocoee is a great river, so make sure you get the best experience by going with Cherokee Rafting, a great rafting company.

I HIGHLY recommend Cherokee Rafting if you want a fun filled day of adventure! If you are lucky enough to get or request Josh as your guide....EVEN BETTER! Josh has YEARS of experience, he's witty and just made our over all experience AMAZING!!! We took 7 people, 6 of whom were 1st timers, and we went down that river like a bunch of pros! We knew we were in good hands. He calmed the fears of our youngest adventurer in the first minute of the trip and made sure that we all had THE TIME OF OUR LIVES!!! Can't wait to go back!!!
