I love having a drive-in i the area it is a great value and a great experience. You can bring your own popcorn or buy it there. The prices are better then in the regular cinemas.

We love having a drive in close to home. This a good place to take the family to see movies. The price is unbeatable. For just 1 person, you can see 2 movies for less than what it costs you to see 1 movie in the theater. Bring ur chairs, blankets and snacks to make the evening complete. There is also a concession stand that has plenty of food and snacks as well.

This is always a fun place. Best part is that they show newly released movies and show 2 or 3 at a time. Definitely a blast from the past.

I've grown up in Maryville so coming to the drive in during the summer is a 'must do.' Go with friends or on a date. Be prepared to wait in lines for food. The restrooms aren't the best but I've not had it stop me. You can bring in your own food and drinks. That's a huge plus! The employees are nice also!

My family and I go to enjoy the movies at the Parkway Drive-In as oftern as we can. The prices are less than one would pay at a walk-in theater and the atmosphere is much better. The personel of the theater are all very friendly. Waiting for the sun to set you can stike up converstions with people you have never met before. The children tend to gather in the grassy area near the screen and play.During the movie most people sit in their own lawn chairs either in front of their vehicle or if you drive a pickup, in the bed of the truck. All in all, a very enjoyable exper;ience every time!

Movie started just past dusk, 9:30pm. Bring your own dinner, beverages, snacks and a frisbee or game for passing the time while waiting for the movie to start. We got there at 8pm to get a good spot. Family fun!

There are not to many of these places left in the US. This is a good one to go to if you like drive-ins. The only problem I see is not in their control and that is waiting on the dark. The night we went the first movie started after 9:00 and we watched 2 movies meaning we got out about 1:30 in the morning.Entry prices are reasonable as well as the concessions. They have a good variety and selection. They do have need of better bathroom facilities though.

I was minding my own business when half way through the movie, I was told I need to move my vehicle, had to start vehicle and turn my lights on to make room for other vehicles. Note that no other vehicles came in, no other vehicles entered the facilities the whole time this went on. A manager named Caleb, who has no kids, gave me every excuse why he interrupted my movie and offered only a free popcorn, I just wanted to be left alone. Note that I had been parked for two hours before a muscle-boynd security guard threatened me physically before I decided I needed to eat the cost of over $100. Terrible experience.

awesome flea market during daytime hours when not showing movies. Lots of great finds of antiques and such.

I went with my boyfriend and we got to take our dogs. It is always nice to go somewhere our fur babies are allowed to be. The staff was very nice, our dogs were greeted with a dog treat and the man working the concessions was extremely nice. I will be back.

Really great local market with very large selection of everything from a variety of many vendors. If you love flea markets, this is the best! It also has a great view of the Smoky Mountains.

The Parkway Drive-In is perfect for those who are nostalgic. For those who did not grow up going to the drive-in? It's an overall ok experience. To clarify, my husband falls in the first category, and I in the later. The drive-in is outside of Maryville and usually opens around the first weekend of May. They almost always have a first run double feature, and every once in a while, they will how three movies in the same night. The prices are very reasonable (currently $7/adult and $3/kid) and you can get a large popcorn and two large drinks at the snack bar for under $10.The drive-in is very popular, and this is perhaps the cause of many of its problems. The gates open at 7, and in order to get a good spot, you have to arrive early. This causes traffic to back up on the highway starting about 6:30 p.m. We sat in the turn lane for over fifteen minutes and felt like sitting ducks. It would be nice to have an overflow traffic line on property. Also, if you want food, you best make a beeline for concessions as soon as you park the car or during the feature. Otherwise, you are looking at a 30 minute wait in line. I would recommend just bringing your dinner with you to save yourself the hassle. Also, there are only two stalls in the ladies' room. For a venue that houses hundreds of people, I found this woefully inadequate. The last night we were there, the bathrooms smelled terrible, and it was later announced that there was an issue, and they had to get the septic trick out there.Since you have to arrive early to get a spot, you essentially have two hours to then kill before the movie starts. If you enjoy tailgating, this isn't an issue, but most younger children start to get restless. In fact, I was probably not a very good companion and resorted to playing on my phone myself. The venue has recently upgraded to a digital projector, and the images look great. I could actually hear score and sound items through my car speakers that I had missed in a traditional theater. The staff has always been courteous, and they offer free jumps to your car after the show.Once the movie starts, it is an enjoyable experience. If they took steps in regards to crowd control, I would move my rating from a 3 to a 4.

We have been here multiple times. Always fun. Be ready for a late night as they show 2 and sometimes 3 shows. This is not going to the movie theater as the sound and video is not as good. It is also much cheaper. This is somewhere to go with the family to spend a night out and watch some movies. I would recommend taking a radio and not depend on your car speakers. We park and sit behind our vehicle outside. If you are going to sit in your car then car speakers would be just fine.

We went a while back during the summer months, easy to get into, fair price to see a doublefeature, got there early enuff to get a good parking stall, more to the center and middle of thefield. Here is the problem we experienced, the movie did not start till around 9 something, thisof course due to the summer sun sinking later in the sky, so we arrived around 7 something and sat waiting the 2 hours for it to begin, okay, so movie starts, it ends around 11 somethng pm,then there is a half hour intermission, the the second movie begins, we didnt get out of theretill around 1 in the morning. Overall, enjoyable to some extent and quite tiring to the otherextent.
