Short 5 minute walk from the parking area to that top. 20 minutes to the bottom. Very beautiful to see. The top off the falls does have any safety rails for viewing so keep children close. Nothing else to see just a nice waterfall.

Found Ozone Falls listed on TripAdvisor on our way home on I-40. Well worth the short drive down 70. Our dog loved hiking down to the bottom of the falls! Be careful where you step and make sure you're wearing steady shoes.

This waterfall vista is well worth the 10 minute drive off the interstate to stretch your legs and test your fear of heights on the sheer cliffs at Ozone Falls.

Ozone Falls is my absolute favorite waterfall. The view is breathtaking, no matter where you're standing. Going to the top of the waterfall is just a few steps away from the parking spaces, and offers a lovely and incredibly relaxing place to enjoy the view! The trip to the bottom of the falls can be slippery, but is a beautiful walk and not far from the road! This is a perfect place for just chilling out in the sun for a while with exceptional scenery.

Can be a bit difficult to find but well worth the hike in and quite time spent with Nature! Some of the hike is a bit difficult for older ones but well worth it!

Ozone Falls is a fun swimming hole to add to any road trip. It is pretty close to the interstate, and the walk is not very far to the falls. The water was cool and refreshing. You can swim in the pool below the waterfall, stand underneath the waterfall, and even walk behind it. If I lived in the area, I would be here all the time on hot summer days! Some may say the trail to the bottom of the falls is difficult and strenuous. I am a seasoned hiker, and did not find an issue with it. My mom is afraid of heights and made it down just fine, although she did stop a few times to figure out where to put her feet. In terms of danger, if you are smart and use common sense, I don't find this to be a dangerous place. For example, swimming in the river at the top of the falls or running around the edge of the cliff is probably not the brightest idea. I find the bottom pool to be safe. The rocks are a little slippery, but there aren't any currents or dangerous spots to suck you under.

Ozone falls is very nice and out of the way, but the top of the falls is just a skip and a jump from the parking lot. Nothing really in the area around the falls so bring what you need with you. The trail to the bottom of the falls is difficult sometimes you feel like you are climbing straight down the rock. Once at the bottom you can go behind the falls. The bottom also has a small plash pond great for splashing and skipping rocks. You can use the boulders and skirt the whole little pond area. Be ready when you return to the parking lot it feels like you are pulling yourself straight up.

The trail to the fall is somewhat obscure. Do not be thwarted. Carefully hiking will lead you to a location for a wonderful view about halfway down the falls. Adventuresome hikers can go all the way to the base.

We went here on the recommendation of a friend, and we weren't disappointed. It's a spectacular waterfall. You can't see much from the top, and I was surprised there is no railing at all up top. You would not want to bring young children here because they could easily fall over the edge if they started running around. The hike down is short, but tough. There are a lot of slippery, wet rocks. Be very careful! It's a great, quiet place. No one was there in the hour we spent admiring the water, rocks, and scenery. I would love to go back every season.

I really wanted to go to the bottom and see the complete fall, but being afraid of heights and no railing made me to decide not to. If they could just put a one sided rail steps to go down, would be so helpful. not everyone is a hiker and i'm pretty sure that people with disabilities would enjoy the scenery. I just wished it was more accomodated for others.

If you're into waterfalls & not into crowds, Ozone Falls is the perfect stop. Water drops over a hundred feet at this beautiful spot & crowds are non existent. In the 2 hours we spent here, only 4 others joined us at the top. And at the base, we were the only ones enjoying the view. This is one of the places where you can actually walk behind the falls. According to locals, a scene from the Jungle Book was filmed here - one even described coming down during filming to see imported tigers & snakes (all caged) to 'help 'jungle-ize' the area. Two warnings: 1. Watch your children. There is no rail at the top of the falls so it would be very easy for a hyped Junior to take a 100 foot plunge & 2. Make sure you're steady on your feet - and are wearing the proper shoes - if you follow the path to the bottom. Ok, it's not descending the Matterhorn, but it's a bit more challenging than a stroll in the park.

Family fall pictures will most definitely be shot here. Easy access to top of falls which is only a quarter of a mile walk from the small turn off (Right on HWY 70) where you park your car. Keep in mind there is no railing at the top of falls therefore its very dangerous. But such an amazing view! The short walk to get to the bottom of the falls is covered in rocks so wear at least tennis shoes. Plenty of room at the bottom for a picnic and plenty of flat rock to sunbathe on. The water is so clear and has the same color as the emerald coast. I've also heard this place has moonbows! That's a must see one evening for us. This place is very peaceful. We were the only ones there for at least 2 hours.

Take a short trip to view another of natures wonderful creations. This Natural Falls, can be viewed from above on a overhang (not for everyone LOL) or a short hike to the bottom with cooler temperatures. Take a break from your journeys or make a special trip that you will share with others.

This is such a great waterfall to visit, it's absolutely beautiful! Ozone Falls is very easy to access, it's right off Hwy 40 and very easy to find. There is only a small amount of parking, but we had no problem on our visit finding a place to park. It's an easy walk to the falls, you can walk to the top of the falls or down to the bottom of the falls where it plunges 110 feet into a pool of water. If you take the trail that leads to the top of the falls, it's a spectacular view, but be very careful near the edge, you could easily fall over. It's definitely worth taking 30 minutes or so of your time pulling off the interstate and checking it out.

Well I decided to tackle three significant waterfalls in one day. It took over eight hours to all three but was worth it for the pictures. I undertook this difficult task because for one I am from Florida so these waterfalls are not easily available to me and two there was so much rain and flooding I was sure to get great full waterfalls. I was not disappointed.1. Ozone Waterfall2. Falling Water Falls3. Upper Piney WaterfallsAll 3 are significant Waterfalls
