I went there for a conference. Most participants would have surely complained about the lack of proper signage/directions within the centre to guide first timers in such a huge structure. I spent a lot of time finding the conference room/rooms I had to be in.

Attending a large conference here and the space was huge and very nice and well kept up with. It was a lovely facility worth visiting for a convention or other event.

I go to conferences quite often, and it is interesting how efficiently (or not) strangers are handled in a strange, very busy place. There are literally thousands of people trying to find their way around unfamiliar territory. I walked miles and miles during my several days here: lots of unmarked rooms (ballroom F, for example), making them almost impossible to find. Why make it so complicated? Even the main registration desk is tucked-away inside a ballroom, with no signs in the main traffic area.

Excellent facility. However, the price gouging on the food and drink is really distasteful. It just feels like they are taking advantage of the folks attending the conventions.

We were attending the American Choral Directors Association conference in Salt Lake City. The hub was at the Salt Palace. I appreciated the folks were at the information booths throughout the day when we asked directions or recommendations for places to go. There were several restrooms available as well as places to sit. Wifi was also available. This is a beautiful place with so much room for a national conference such as ACDA. I hope to return for other conferences. Thank you to everyone on staff who was above and beyond in their assistance.

This is a very functional convention center, and is convenient to City Creek mall food establishments. It is also close to the tram system...which is heavily occupied by homeless people just riding around. Diet Cokes are $3.50. Seemed a bit pricey. I don't appreciate being taken advantage of with little things like that.

This is a nice convention center. The wifi hotspot we paid for didn't work reliably, but orher than rhat, it was very nice. 7000 people in one room with pretty good seats all around and huge video screens for better close-ups of the on-stage action. Well done!

I attended the RootsTech conference and attended several luncheons. The food was always good. Better than I have had at many other conferences.

This is the second conference I've attended at the Salt Palace Convention center and I am still amazed and how large and well laid out it is. This conference reportedly had over 20,000 attendees, but you rarely felt it.

I attended a conference at this facility last week that had over 20,000 people registered for one of the days. Yes, it was crowded but the food queues were manageable and the escalators moved people up and down efficiently. What impressed me the most was that the long line for the Women's Restroom moved quickly so there was only a few minutes wait to get a cubicle. The Restroom near the Grand ballroom was the biggest I have ever seen. I stayed at The Radisson Downtown but next time I will stay at The Marriott which seems to be the most convenient hotel to the major part of the venue.

I was at this venue for the RootsTech Conference 2015. It is huge! Be sure to wear good walking shoes. If there for this type of venue, you can find women's restrooms in other parts of the place than right outside the big hall where the keynotes are. I.E. you don't have to wait in line if you walk a bit farther. For example, by rooms 355A-E.

Near many good restaurants within short walking distance. Internet was fast. Bathrooms were crowded and several were out of order..

This place is enormous! Plan to walk. The rooms are marked clearly and easy to navigate. They have ample space, bathrooms, and escalators.

Overall a good facility but you could get lost finding some of the rooms. With the mall right across the street and within walking distance to many hotels and restaurants it is a good location. When you enter the doors you may hear a tone. Take a minute and read the plaque by the center door and the sounds will be explained
