Nice place to get away for a day. The diverse temperatures on the pools make it easy to enjoy. The admittance price is reasonable. The addition of the firewood pizza cart is really awesome. Just being your own water and sit back, relax.....

I like backroads and places with charm, sometimes old world, and sometimes just plain relaxing. Crystal Hot Springs is that kind of a place. I dropped in just about dust, walked in and the girl at the counter was more than help for a newbie to their hot springs. First to be handed out was a breakdown of the minerals and content levels. Second came a big comfy towel and a few buck later I was on my way to the dressing room. The place is basic, its simple, its country. I changed and headed for the pool and for the next hour it was indeed heaven. There are both hot and cold pools and in summer it is wonderful to switch back and forth. There are more private gazebo spa's designed for 2-5 in additional to the main pool and the bigger pool in the back. I finally left, pleasantly numb, hungry and ready for a great nights sleep. Thanks to that high mineral content I got exactly that! Take a few minutes, exit I-25 in Northern Utah and head the short 15 minutes over to Crystal Hot Springs. Be sure you head back to I-25 the way you came and going north does not reconnect you with the Interstate.

Avoid the holidays and school vacations, it's packed at that time. Also, take your own towels. There are multiple pools and hot tubs for your liking and it's a great and relaxing way to spend and evening. They have an attached campground with hookups and they're open even in the snow!

I really love these funky hot springs with high mineral/salt content water. The biggest pool has 3 waterfalls, VERY HOT, hot and cool. You can sit under these for a massage like pouring of water onto your shoulders. You need to move closer to the waterfall area to get hot and back away to cool off. There are benches all the way around that allow you to sit with just you head out of the water. Three smaller hot tubs have various water temps and there is a non-heated larger pool about 25 feet away. A water slide and much larger non-heated pool are open in the summer. There are a lot of plastic chez lounges around and a grassy area with picnic tables. It is about an hour's drive north of Salt Lake City and 5 or 6 miles off of I-15. With a stop at Maddox for lunch, (in Perry) this makes a fun afternoon adventure with a car full of friends or a welcome break if you are on a long journey on I-15 / I-84.

Not many out of towners were here the two times we visited in November. The air was warm once and very chilly the other, but the pools were clean and warm and uncrowded. The fee is cheap at $6. The pools are all a little different; the three falls in the main pool are great. Choose your temperature. Nice and clean. This is about an hour north of Salt Lake City. Enjoy.

This place just keeps getting better and better! I've always loved the hot springs but several years ago it started to show it's age and was in need of some fixing it up. Now, every time I go in there is some new improvement! I love the waterfalls, the heated slide, and the dressing rooms are looking great. One of my favorite places to go with my fam :)

I love this place best water in the world. I try to go soak there at least once a week it is truly one of the best things to do on a snowy day.

We went for a nice soak in the hot springs. The price is very reasonable, at only $6 for adults. In the summer they even have a waterslide. I liked the pools. There are several of them, all at varying temperatures. You can pick the pool that feels best to you or migrate between them. The water felt really good. Even though it was really cold outside, you didn't really notice it.The thing that turned me off about the place was that the water was dirty. I don't know if they ever filtered the pools, but there was a lot of debris floating in the water ranging from dead bugs, to hair, to who knows what. Also the dressing room that I used was pretty dirty. When I first came in there was a small piece of excrement on the floor. When I left I saw that it had been scooped up, but nobody had bothered to clean the floor under where it had been sitting, There were also some safety hazards in the dressing room/shower area in the form of exposed lights. If someone ever decided to throw water on the exposed light bulb in the shower it would shatter, spreading glass shards all over the floor, where people are walking in their bare feet. Someone needs to put the covers back on over the lights.

We attended a vintage trailer rally at this place. Some of the reviews I had read made me think it was on its last legs and way out in the sticks. Heck, it was really a nice little place. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't as "fresh" as a five star resort but it was very nice.The camp spots were grassy. The price was very reasonable.The water has a very high mineral content. Sort of marinates you in a salty sort of residue so be sure to shower on the way out.Lots of different temperatures and you can stand under three waterfalls of differing temperatures of water. Very nice.And it is not way out in the sticks, it is about 2.5 miles off I-15 and close to lots of little towns.

This was a nice place to spend the day in the pools. We didn't camp, just swam and soaked all day. I can't wait to try it out in the winter. I hear they let the pools get hotter in the winter, and keep them cooler in the summer. There were a lot of people, but it wasn't uncomfortably crowded. They should think about putting in a snack bar or something similar. They let you bring in coolers etc., but I'm lazy and like a bite to eat when I swim all day. ;-)

We arrived late without a reservation but were easily accommodated with a site for our small RV camper. Very pleasant, quiet and comfortable. The restroom was adequate only. The hot springs pool had three different areas with 3 different temperatures. We will be back.

This is a down home mineral hot springs that is a family favorite. There is a water slide for the kids and several temperatures of hot pools. If you really like it hot you can get under the mineral hot spring waterfall or just venture as close and your body will allow you. There are also swimming pools that you can cool of in. None of the pools are deep so there is less concern for children. They also have life jackets for the kids and further relieve stress for parents. If you want to stay overnight there is a campground attached. Usually you can find discount tickets, but the price is reasonable no matter what.

I love the fact that there are so many pools/tubs with different temperatures. Family friendly, single friendly, really nice locals that swear to the healing properties in the water. I tend to stay at a campsite on the property when visiting... Last time I chose to stay at a hotel in Brigham City and go to a local steakhouse for dinner. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend! *First time visitors just need to know that Crystal is a little like walking into a time warp back to the 70's. It's not fancy schmantsy and that is just part of the charm!

Okay, so first let me offset a portion of my comments by saying we had a great time! We really did. The sites were absolutely perfect and the ground was quite level and clear of any typical pest. The fire pits were big and that was great, the bathrooms were better than average. They cleaned them every morning but they had the typical primitive critters in the corners. There was always toilet paper and the showers were nice to have.After a wonderful day enjoying all the different pools, our wonderful hamburgers cooked out of doors, s'mores on the campfire, we all settled in for the night. Then it happened...the one thing the website, the 30 minute video do not mention even once. A bone shattering train whistle that is blown right at the point of the campsite. It is so loud that the first night I almost had a heart attack! It happens several times through the night so just plan ahead and bring ear plugs. You will still hear it but instead of sounding as if it is coming through the door of the tent, it will sound like it's 5 miles away. The ground rumbles as well so don't panic and think it's an earthquake...We also forgot to bring condiments for the hamburgers but there's a marginally equipped mart just a few miles down the road where we were able to get ketchup and mustard but not pickles, LOL! The grounds keepers were serious about having quiet after 11 which I also appreciated since we had our small grandchildren with us. They loved the pools too, and there were plenty of places to walk or run. All in all we had a great time and that's why I marked it as high as I did. As long as you are prepared for the train, you should be fine and will want to go back as we are next year!

My niece really wanted to show us Crystal Hot Springs while we were visiting. And we truly enjoyed the pools (although we didn't try the "cooling"/chlorine pool nor did we purchase access to the slide). The only thing that prevents me from giving it a 5 is the doors where you are supposed change don't actually lock (the bathroom stalls do) and the fact that they have pool toys for children to use while there (which would normally be a great thing), but part of that was scuba gear, including mouth pieces, and that just doesn't seem sanitary to me.
