We skied here on a day that was snowing, so there was fresh powder, however immediately under that powder was ice. It made for very difficult skiing. It didn't appear that they had groomed anything, even the green runs in quite some time. I had great hopes and people bragged about the snow in Utah, but I was not impressed. Maybe if you're from the east you would be, but I was disappointed.

Spent first 3 days of ski trip at Brighton, taking lessons. And then graduated ourselves to Snowbird. The conditions were great as snow had just fallen a few days before. The lifts were never crowded even though it was Dec 29-30. The boys had a blast - one on snowboard and the other on skis. We parked at Creekside so used the lifts from that location. There was plenty of runs for our various skill levels to keep us busy, we never ventured to the other side of the resort. While the boys enjoyed greens/blues, I never got bored with going down the same green run all day. We rented skis in-town which was great because we did not have to get in line with others first thing in the morning. The onsite lockers are great! Pay once and open/close all day long. We packed our lunches which helps with costs. Definitely we will return next year.

The tram up to the top of the mountain is worth the price of admission, but the ski down the mountain was challenging. Nonetheless, the moutnain itself is beautiful, and I could tell that with some more snow, this place is a top notch resort, maybe the best in the area.

Such a beautiful area, so many people saw moose, I was not fortunate enough to see one though :( the trees and the mountains are just beautiful.

Took the tram to the top of the summit and hiked down. We did the hike in about two hours with two kids (if you don't have kids you'll probably go faster!). We also did the summer fun rides (coaster, jump castles, glider, etc) and had a blast!

Snowbird is huge!!! has tons of area to snowboard and ski. It's for the more experienced crowed. There were a lot of up hill area's that you needed to be prepared for and not slow down or you had to unstrap and hike up.

Kids had a blast and I had a blast keeping up with them. Great employees helped us with pointing out locations for coupons to help me with a save a bit on a family of four! You guys rock!

The staff and everything was perfect for the 3 hour snowmobiling adventure at Snowbird. Had so much fun I flew my 17 year old son to do it all again. Absolutely breathtaking.....

Snowbird - the name tells you all you need to know. One of the most challenging and beautiful ski resorts with tons of fresh powder. It also has the 2nd largest tram in the US.

This was a perfect place for our family. The skiing was awesome and the amenities were good. It offered enough variety for every level of skier.

For hard-core skiers & boarders, Snowbird has to be on your bucket list. Can find some serious terrain & steeps in the Mineral Basin and Gad2 areas. Can't wait to go back.

We attended octoberfest and had a wonderful time. A variety of vendors with different products were shown. As we are from the east cost it was refreshing to see different crafts.

This is Alta's alter-ego. A very shiny resort experience which gives skiers a "bling" alternative to the more laid-back Alta. It also has some very challenging terrain. If your group is more intermediate-focused, you might think twice about this trip.

Whew, even for us skiers/snowboarders who think we can ski anything (from So Cal), their rating system here trumps anything we have skiied. Black diamonds are quite challenging. Then they have double black diamonds. This is the place to go if you think you are an advanced/extremely advanced skier. Their intermediate runs are what we in So Cal would call black diamonds. Not at fun at Brighton or Park City, and that was because we felt way over our ability here. Beautiful day and groomed runs but too much work for us to get down the hills.!

Been to Snowbird many times year round. Great ski conditions and wonderful snow. Come in the winter for skiing and come in the summer for other activities, hiking, biking alpine slide etc... Beautiful!!!
