Justin, Jake and Tori are top-notch. Great fun had by 12,10 and 8 yr old. We did the 500 and 800 foot sail. Both were fantastic. Highly recommended. Good clean boat new safe equipment knowledgeable staff. You're in good hands with this crew.

my 6 year old son and my mother were able to parasail together at 800 ft. the captain of the boat was kind and patient with my son who was slightly nervous. the boat left on time and and experience was worth the $, which is a little high. 140 plus tip for 15-20 minutes as well as 20.00 extra for me to ride along int he boat.

We love Dewey beach parasail. It was an incredible experience, the staff (owner and his brother) were very fun! They got everyone on the boat laughing and interacting. They were very professional and curtious as well. I was very nervous to go up, but they reassured me that safety is their tip priority! (We actually ended up going 2 hours later than we booked because there was a slight storm brewing) which actually eased some of my nerves. They aren't in it for the money (btw the price is VERY reasonable) they do this to show people an amazing experience in the safest way possible. We love you guys and we will see you again.

This is the second year in a row that we went parasailing while on vacation in Bethany Beach. Last year (summer 2012), we went in Fenwick Island (not a great experience). This summer (2013) we went to Dewey Beach Parasail. Great experience all around. We called to make reservations but they were booked for the day so we scheduled for the following day. The reservation girl put us on a "standby list" and they actually called us later that same day with a cancellation so they we able to fit us in. I was very impressed. The guys on the boat made the experience very fun. Both of my daughters loved the ride and the "dip". We can't wait to go back again next summer

On a whim, we decided to go parasailing. I called first thing in the morning and was able to get an afternoon reservation. The boat was on time and we got out on the water exactly as planned. With this being our first time, we felt comfortable because the captain and crew were excellent. I am not very fond of heights but felt totally secure during the whole ride. We opted for the 500 ft with photo package. So glad we got the photos. They got some great pics! Overall, we had a great experience. FYI, you will get wet!!

We are sad to hear that you had an unpleasant experience! Because we are such a huge attraction in the Rehoboth/Dewey/Bethany area we are often booked to capacity. Parasailing is also very dependent on the weather, safety first!! If we are ever running behind, we always do our best to call the customers to tell them an "adjusted" departure time. We recognize that your time is valuable (especially your vacation time). I'm sorry that you did not get the message! The flyers were not sent up in a group of 3 to make up time. They were given the option. That is per our company policy. It is also possible that payload required them to go 3 at a time....again, safety first!! This was a good idea.We wanted to take the three girls for an adventure they would like.Boy are these guys great.They were very safe the whole way thru.The instructions they gave were spot on.They made us feel safe the whole way thru.I am not found of heights, and I loved it.My 10 year old said she wants to go back on the higher ride.These guys know what they are doing.We will be back.I highly recommend them.

We recognize that your time is valuable (especially your vacation time). It sounds like your group could have definitely been called sooner, to prevent such a long wait. Your statement is very harsh: "The only positive thing I can say is that the refund was quick. Would go further than to not recommend - AVOID IF POSSIBLE. Apparently reservations don't mean what they used to."We fly over 5000 happy customers each and every summer and we have been in business for 10 years. We do recommend reservations and we have a 93% on time departure rate. An on time departure is we leave the dock within 5min of our scheduled departure time. Again, weather does sometimes affect our departures as well as other factors (ie a customer showing up late). During our vacation in Rehoboth, we encountered a couple of days where the weather wasn't perfect for sitting on the beach, but the kids were still itching to do things outside. We came across the ad for Dewey Beach Parasail in some reading material in our hotel room and decided to give them a call, and are SO glad that we did. The lady we spoke with on the phone wasn't able to give us a reservation initially because they were completely booked for the day (we later learned that its recommended to call a few days in advance or first thing in the morning in order to guarantee a spot)...In any case, the girl working asked us for our phone number and said that she would call us if there were any cancellations. Initially skeptical, we were THRILLED when they called us back and were able to fit us in. We were nervous when we got there, having never parasailed before, but we were immediately comforted by the knowledgeable staff (both in the booth and on the boat). We opted for the 800' "High Ride" and the photo package. We were again pleasantly surprised when all three of our kids could go together, harnessed side by side, while my husband and I went together. We got around 30 awesome photos of all of us. The kids are already counting down the days until we go again this year (we have our reservations in advance this time!!). If you're in the Lewes/Rehoboth/Dewey/Bethany (or even Ocean City) areas on vacation, I would HIGHLY recommend Dewey Beach Parasail. Their customer service was excellent, as was the overall experience.

I love going to DBP, staff is always friendly and fun! I went 800 ft and got dipped in the water. I'll definitely be back again :)

Was staying in rehoboth beach rented bikes and rode over to dewey beach, had a blast with the parasial. Water was cold when we got DIPPED but had great pics of us

The staff was awesome. Very friendly and very accommodating. Our first reservation was cancelled due to lighting in the area, but the staff was able to rebook us for the next day. Paid $140 for two with the photo package (took about 30 photos of us in the air, getting dipped, etc..) If you are looking for adventure as a couple or even as a family, highly recommend this.

The staff was great! Acomidated to our group and we loved it!!!
