snake river canyon overlook

At this overlook, stop #8 along the Western Heritage Historic Byway, you get a nice sweeping view of the Snake River and canyon: upstream to the left, Swan Falls Dam below, and downstream to the right. When I was there, a pretty fair amount of construction traffic marred the view. I’m not sure what’s being built, but I hope to go back during my visit next year to check it out.
