Love the convenience and location. Great place for a cinema among Meridian's new "Village" Everything is conveniently located and prices are reasonable..

Tuesday's go for the movies and the burgers, the movie is 5 bucks and the burgers are too, the burgers are tasty and you can not beat them for the cost

First time watching a 3D movie AND have the seats move. Pretty cool. Neck still a bit sore from looking up even though there is a head rest. If you go, get your tickets early & get a seat farthest away from the screen then go to the Yard House next door or enjoy other stuff in the village. Go back to the theater 1/2 hour before the movie begins to pick up your glasses and get a snack, it took us that long with tickets pre purchased. The place was packed and only a handful of people ended up in the DBox. Cannot imagine trying to get a ticket right before the movie judging by the lines. We all 4 have different opinions on the 3D so you'll have to judge for yourself.

Usually I love going to the Village for a movie. However tonight I took my boyfriend for a VIP experience and it was nothing of the sort. We told management at the start of the movie that it was too hot (along with everyone else in VIP) they assured us it would cool down. By the end of the movie we were all so hot that no one could even sit still. Upon exiting the theater we told management that it was bloody roasting in there and didn't get offered anymore than a 'sorry' we will work on it. Too late. To top it off other lady in a different theater said the same thing. If I'm paying for VIP service I would expect our tickets to be refunded, or maybe the 50 dollar meal we had? So disappointed.

I am from Portland Oregon. We have Cinetopia here. I think I still like it better but this has been the closest I have come to finding a better theatre. It looks like a pretty nice place, I only saw one movie there while in town so I do have a limited experience to share. The ticketing process was pretty good. One thing that I like about other places is if you get your tickets ahead of time, you don't have to wait in line to pick them up. I might have missed how to NOT wait in line at Village Cinema, but I had to wait to pick them up even though we had purchased them ahead of time.I do like that at this theatre you reserve your seat ahead of time, it was a fun and new experience. However, I am not sure if I would always want that. If you happen to feel in the mood for a movie, at you get there an hour before, you can still get a great seat and enjoy some food while you wait. When there is assigned seating, you loose the option of getting there early. Again, the opposite is true so I am still torn but it was fun knowing I had my seat ready for me regardless of what time I got there. The theatre had a good amount of options from the concessions counter. Not the three star chef of Cinetopia's locations, but still good and satisfying from a snack-y perspective. We had just had a huge Christmas dinner so I didn't partake in any, but everyone else seemed to quite enjoy the popcorn and such. For the actual auditorium, the screen was large. Large. I am not sure if it was a 70' or 80' diagonal screen but it ranked up there with the big ones. The sound was Dolby Atmos which was fantastic. I was thinking I might be let down, but no, they had Atmos in all it's glory! I tried to look at what type of speakers they had but couldn't get close enough to see. They sounded good. Not sure if they were Meyer's good, but very good detail in the highs with a nice growling low. The picture seemed good as well and I would guess they were 4K projectors but I can't be certain.Overall I enjoyed the experience and they run weekly specials which is nice. I would certainly go there again if I come into town and want to see a movie.

I especially love the VIP section. They serve you drinks and food in your seat. The seats are huge, it's almost like your own comfy loveseat.

Love being able to pick my seat and not go early to get a good one. Great Popcorn! Not sure that I will be able to go back to the old style theaters anymore. The lap of luxury with big new screens and seats. Employees are doing a great job.

The village is nice, seems to be a bigger deal around here than it should, but that's because it is a taste of "the big city". We thought it would be great to go see the tree lighting--big big mistake. The Village did not block off walk-ways or monitor the safety of all there for the event. We were kicked, stepped on and left in a very dangerous situation. My son went and talked to the security officers--they did nothing. It wasn't well thought out at all.

Awesome Theater located in Meridian Village. Great place for family and friends. They have top rated movies, Beer, cocktails, food available in Cinemas upstairs. Also a full bar & bistro..

I have been to this theater several times. Plenty of parking, sometimes if you patience you can find a space inside the village area. Tuesdays are bargain days...any movie any time only $5. I can take my daughter on Tuesdays enjoy a movie and the kids popcorn deal for less than $20. The staff is helpful and even informed me of their rewards program and signed my up. You can pick your seat before you even get into the theater. I am not a big fan of assigned seating but if the movie is full it's nice to know your seat will be waiting for you. I'm not sure how they would enforce this if you chose to sit elsewhere. The snack bar is same as any other theater, they do offer a separate coffee bar so you don't have to wait in a long line. The lobby is huge with plenty of seating if you are waiting. Restrooms are clean. They also have a video game area that is hidden away, I found it by accident. It's nice it's tucked away and you don't hear the sounds of the machines. The theaters are small but cozy. The sound is loud too loud in my case. Seats are comfortable and recline a little. The theater is clean and I always see staff cleaning. Some of the theaters offer a balcony area for 21 and over. In the balcony area you can drink and eat a meal from their theater café. Again on Tuesdays, the theater café offers $5 hamburgers and $5 beers. A good deal for mid week date. Compared to other theater in the area its a good value and in a central area. After the movie, you can browse the village area fountain, shops, and restaurants..

Overall...awful experiences. Just not run properly. Problems with 3D movies playing properly (3 times so far!) with no explanation at all from staff. Patrons left to sit in the theater wondering what if happening. Either too hot or too cold in theaters. Always long lines at concession area...while employees are standing around chatting or tasting ice cream! Crazy. Again, it comes down to bad management. Someone at the corporate office needs to take a good hard look at this location!

Located in the Village in Meridian. Love the fact you purchase your tickets and choose you seat at the same time. Popcorn is good!

Parking is a long ways off from the front door. Seating is terrible - seats are awful small (they do rock back and forth which is good), seats too close to the gigantic screen. We sat on the back row and felt too close to the screen. Service in the lobby was terrible (both times we went there). Employees standing around with long lines waiting for popcorn and drinks. I will never go back to this theater.

Enter the lobby that looks like a Hollywood movie set, complete with a VIP section that offers food and wine in a separate upstairs area, several small theaters with reserved seating and you have the Village Cinema. Beautiful atmosphere, good prices especially on $5 Tuesdays, beautiful environment to roam before or after the movies.

The Village shopping center is beautiful. I was there in September and beautiful hanging baskets of flowers. It's fairly new, so there are still shops going in. It's designed in a circular fashion. The shops on the outside and restaurants in the middle with a beautiful water feature. Great shops, and fun dining. Parking is good. You feel as if you're NOT in Boise, but in a fancy upscale city!! Happy Shopping!!
