hub city heritage corp. railway museum

The old engines, box cars, and cabooses make this journey a step back in time to when the railways connected America from coast to coast. This small Iowa community has done an admirable job of putting together and supporting this venture and the volunteers offer insightful information as well as guided tours. The museum recently received a bid of 80K to repaint one of the old engines. I am willing to provide a week of free labor to assist them and hope that others will do as well. While this isn't the most exotic museum in the world, it certainly is a treasure in the rough and well worth the visit. The museum is free to the general public.
