Kids at heart will love this place as well! It's an indoor go-kart racing track and caters to all ages! The first time you go, the registration and check in is a little long and arduous, and the price is a little high, but once that's done and you get on the track, it's wonderful and lots of fun! I would recommend this place for families looking for something to do on a weekend afternoon!

I took a friend here in July and paid $48 for the 2 of us to drive in circles for 5 minutes. I had called ahead and asked about the weekday special, and was told it could be used among 2 people, but was told differently by the teens behind the counter after we spent 5 minutes entering our info into their computers. We had to pay to rent their nasty shoes since our weren't 'closed toe'. We were the only people in the entire building, except for the 10 teenage employees. All the teens knew the instructions well enough to monotony ramble them off in a few seconds. When we were getting ready, the helmets were too small, and when we tried to readjust they told us the sooner we put them on the sooner we'd be done. Horrible overpriced experience.

Took the family to MB2 Raceway during a recent trip to Des Moine and we had a blast. We were able to go out on the track with just our family so that was pretty cool. Was a bit concerned initially about my 10yr old daughter driving for the first time but they have jr sized carts and they are very easy to control. She had no problems. The carts are FAST! I was able to to get around the track quick and with just us 4 out there it was not crowded. It was a bit expensive (think it was $20/pp/race) but fun overall. Recommend.
