Great place to go to in the summer for fish frys. Made from scratch coating on the fish is the best.

I took my 12 year old daughter and 14 year old son on the eco-cruise on my son's birthday. We learned so much about the Mississippi River and enjoyed the ride. The conservationist even let my son drive the big pontoon boat, The Blue Heron. It was FREE but I did have to call in advance and make reservations. This is a wonderful asset to Clinton County. The new facility at Rock Creek houses a very neat aquarium and snack shop, and also had some snakes and turtles that were fed while we were there. The conservationist took the time to talk about the snakes and educated the people there while he was working. We went above and beyond and seemed happy to do it! I recommend to families, couples, young and old. They provide life jackets.

Excellent boat ramp w/access to Mississippi river. Clean shower facilities w/decent selection of fast food to go or dine-in. Impressive waterside campsites. Small but impressive natural resources educational museum. Very impressed with this newly updated and expanded facility.
