lagoon park

This is a City owned park on the banks of the Chippewa River. The city does a nice job of keeping it mowed and kept clean . Excellent place for travel trailers passing through with a drop box for very cheap nightly rate. Located close to the Police Station and is very safe. Across the street is another park....Smith Park featuring a large place area built for children .....restroom....shelter house and lots of picnic tables. Also excellently cared for by the city.

This park is great. Lots of big trees for shade and it has a great jungle gym castle type play area for kids. We were there for a graduation party and the pavilion was nice. We played volleyball and had a nice time.

Nice riverside park and campground. Destination for senior and family pictures. The new rapids which replaced the old WPA dam are fun and allow longer, uninterrupted canoe and kayak treks from upstream. It's a very pleasant, quick paddle from here to the next public water access.
