Years ago, in Oregon, I would see commercials for them on our east coast cable channel. I had always wanted to go. In 2009 we got a chance to go. We had dinner there at that time and played a round of minigolf. It was a fun experience. This year Halloween was no less fun, but it was different. The restaurant has changed hands. They no longer serve seafood. Which was pretty decent before. Now it is burgers and pizza. The waitress said everyone loves the burgers so much they ordered bags to go. I doubt that, they were just okay, nothing I am skidding out of there with by the bag full. The haunts had changed, as expected in that amount of time. I was proud I had enough brain cells left over from 2009 to remember a lot of their props and saw them recycled into the new haunts. Good for them, as an avid haunter myself, I know this is an expensive part. It was just funny we could remember them. We bought the VIP pass both trips, and it is worth the extra money to skip the lines and get to go through as much as you want. The difference this trip is they had more of the outdoor haunts that you walked around. I was thankful it was not raining or had not just rained as the paths are all dirt. I am really jaded when it comes to haunted houses, as we do extensive halloween but a few of the outdoor ones were creepy. They force you through a pitch black cabin to get to the other side, and something about that was unnerving. I didn't think I would ever be afraid in any haunt situation again. I don't think we would go again if in the area, just because it was so close to the last time. If it is your first time I will say don't miss it. Go and spend a little extra for the VIP ticket. it will also get you into the batting cages, mini golf and the go carts.

We had VIP tickets which included unlimited go karts, batting cage, mini golf and 5 haunted exhibits. We enjoyed it all. Feeling young again driving the go karts around the curvy track, then hitting the softball batting cages before we enjoyed a challenging 18 hole mini golf. We had some time to kill so had pizza at the Naticook Restaurant right there in the parking lot that was delicious. At 7:00 the haunted fun began and with VIP shorter lines we did them all twice. None of the characters touch you but the way they jump around and yell in some very scary costumes it can really get your heart beating. I was horse from all the screaming and loved every minute!

This was a ton of fun. Only one of the attractions was very lacking, all others were great. Characters love taking pictures with you. VIP tickets are the way to go, General admissions lines are very long.

Ok so this review will be a tad different Ill be reviewing each attraction individualy.Freak show 3d: THis one was pritty darn good this year, a bit better evin, near the end of it there is a tunnel that really disssorents you. THat gave the attaction a really needed boost. Scary and fun. Carnage (New for 2014): THis was the WORST of all the attactions this is why I decked two stars, Not scary, and just plain dull, Riverview was better then this haunted junk yard. The colony(2014 lay out)" Man did this one expand this one got me several times how ever how they pace the grouping needs a crap tun of work due to some scares being bad due to the group infront. :/ But a blast regardless.Bridgion mannor ANother fun one there hwere allot of holy crap and AHHHH momnents due to how well the acters did there part. Lets jsut say dont let eveyrhting deceave you.Ravin claw: A ok one some of the scares were not that good. =========So what needs work? The group pacing, I know this a uncontorl thing I wished they would let people in By groups. So 4 at a time 8 at a time, have walkies or osmehting to alet how many are going through to change tatics. I dont know...Carnage if it comes back next year needs to ramp up its scares better there was nothing scary about it...

I have gone 2 years in a row and can not wait to go again. Such an amazing price to get scared 5 times!!! The monster midway is amazingly creepy. The cast does an amazing job with costume and make up and definitely give you a scare in the best way. Highly recommend this Haunt!!!!

I've visited many haunted attractions in New England and this one is by far the best! We drive 2 hours every year and it's always been worth the time and money. Not only is there 5 terrifying attractions, there are go-karts, batting cages and mini golf so you never get bored especially with all the creepy characters walking around. The VIP admission it definitely worth it where you don't have to wait in line or pay extra for the go-karts, cages, and mini golf. The restaurant/bar was good and the bonfire was also a nice place to take a break from the lines.

Saw people saying in other reviews its over priced. The fact is you get what you pay for. The average price for a haunt is between $18-$25. And that includes just one attraction that at the mostl last no more than 30min. Here you get 5 separate attractions for $34.99. I don't know the cost of VIP but I know it includes the 5 attractions plus mini golf batting cages and go-carts. When your in line you also have characters that wonder through and interact with the guest so your not just standing there with no action. Also there are performers wandering through out the park while your walking around between the haunts. We came from over 100 miles away because the magazine had them as voted #1. And we saw why. Best we've ever been to, and we have been to many.

We took our niece and her friend to Spooky World. It was a Friday night and it was packed. I think Spooky World has become the go to place for a scare in Southern New Hampshire. It has multiple haunts and scary characters throughout the park that might jump out at you at any time. They "prey" on all of your fears, whether it is the dark, tight spaces, clowns, snakes or dueling banjos. You will definitely leave with your heart racing. It is a great place to get scared!

The best was the go carts and the glow stick haunted house. The bathrooms were horrendous. You couldn't sit down unless you wanted your butt touching poop. I'm not kidding and this was before the park got dark!

The two of us paid around 65 dollars (2 peopleVIP supposedly) to enter. The line for the haunted house was huge (there definitely was no VIP line) and it was a repetitious act of boredom with teens dressed creepily to try to scare you (but nothing else really- at least they employed a lot of kids!) The rides/other attractions not so good either. Don't go- you might as well flush your money down the toilet. The only "right" thing was the time of year, windy and 46 degrees.

bought vip passes and shortly after we arrived the go carts were closed for about an hour and a half then once open the line was so long that it was an hour wait for a ride. Haunts were good and lines moved fairly fast.
