Great place to snowmobile, lots of trails and many great views. Great family trip. Summer time is nice there but think the water needs some clean up.

I live near the lake (one town away). There are beautiful lakes in NH this is not one of them. In the summer this pond gets to warm and bacteria grows. and it is surrounded by homes on the edge. If you decide to go anyway, be careful crossing the street its a main road in the town.

We drove over to the lake with intent of swimming, but due to poor water conditions no one can swim or wade in the water which made it a very disappointing trip. It would cost $4 for an adult to go in and sit on the beach.

Small beach area of the lake. Can rent canoes. Bathrooms and changing areas were sub par but what can you really expect at a beach with lots of sand to dirty things up. Lots of space for picnicking though - plenty of tables and grills around by the woods next to the beach. There's also a playground. $4 per person to get in so not too bad. Concession stand was a bit overpriced.

Sorry- we used to love this pace but it as gone down hill the last few years and is dirty, unkempt and in disrepair. Too bad because it used to be a great day place for the family

Great places to bring your family. The park is very clean and keep up. Would tell my friends to pack your family and head to the park.

its a nice little place but its been shut down so many times due to bacteria in the water by the state park authorities i am scared to visit. my friends talk about the septic systems being very close to the lake causing issues in stagnant water. its sad but its so close by. i luv walking around and enjoying the sand and water.

Used to go here as a kid but stopped since the water is dirty and beach not maintained

Beautiful setting, but has become another abused public swimming/picnic area.
