gilman park

I launch my kayak here. Easy parking near the boat launch. I love meandering around the Exeter River. Sometimes, I don't see another boater. Nice trails along the river too, which we take the dog walking on. Wonderful resource.

It is nothing fantastic but it is pleasant. There is water, short wooded trails, bridges, benches, ample parking, basketball courts, athletic fields. It is on the backside of Phillips Exeter Academy's Athletic fields. The signs and entrance are slightly lacking and the overall size is small but it is still nice. Lot of dog walkers enjoying it.There is also a small skatepark out closer to the main road and entrance.

Great park to let your kids run around and burn off some energy after a long car ride ! Lovely setting by the river, watch the ducks, and the painted turtles sunbathing on logs. Bring your kayaks and bicycles !

I think this must be an error for Gilman park. It's a great location if you love Cannon's.
