Came here on a warm day for a walk and was pleasantly surprised at what was on offer. Worth a visit.

The McLane Audubon center is just beautiful. I just had my wedding there June 13th and it was magical. We decided to have both ceremony & reception outside. The ceremony we had outside in the Audubon gardens and the reception was out in a meadow under tents. It couldn't have been more perfect. The staff were INCREDIBLE and went above and beyond to help us make our day go smoothly. What a wonderful way to support a not for profit by holding an event there. If you love the outdoors and are looking for a wonderful venue, please check the Mclane center out!

Took my young granddaughter, who loved the rescued birds and hiking around the more open area of the woods near the bird sanctuary. We didn't attempt the grassier trails. Inside there wasn't much to do when we were there, though they have a nice little gift shop. All in all, a nice place to take the kids for a hike and picnic, and they do have frequent special events.

This highly informative visitor centre has great facilities and displays. The trails are a little disappointing, in that the lake views are very limited (overgrowth of vegetation) and you'd be very lucky to see a loon! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and there are restrooms on site. The staff will let you know about boat trips out, going from a few miles away, which may give a much better chance of seeing the birds.

My kids have been with school trips and love going. Seemed to have a good time and learned a lot. They said they would go again.

Had a very peaceful and restful day just enjoying nature and all the beautiful speces of birds and critters we have in NH,.

Minus the mosquitoes at the time, it's a great place to hit the trails. Definitely plan on going again when it's cooler and not as muddy.

Was able to take a break from the office Xmas party to go and visit some of the birds in rehab and other animals and reptiles in rehab. The set up is very clean, quiet, and welcoming. The staff was wonderful. I snuck away from the office party (boring!) and checked out some of the tanks in a classroom and visited with one of their staff who was very knowledgeable about owls and other wildlife.

This place is great. Lots of free parking with self-guided nature trails right off the lot area. Gift shop sells great books, nature-themed gifts, and bird feeders galore. There are several live animals to see in residence. They offer classes, lectures, and a summer program for kids. A real treasure off a quiet dead-end road.

The farm has tame trails ideal for children 2 - 5. Views are sparse. Some noteworthy trees are along trails, primarily tall white pine. Didn't see much wildlife during summer visit other than chickadees hanging around bird feeder. Kid "cool" factor was average, and mosquitos were pesky. C. dog
