To say this place is off of the beaten path is an understatement. As you ride in the pavement ends and then the road narrows before you reach the falls. It is an easy walk down t the falls. It is fairly short, but you still have to navigate roots and rocks. There are serveral pathways that shoot off. We were there in October and this summer New Hampshire had very little rain, so the falls was a fraction of what it is in the spring with the flow increased the spring thaw. It is a peaceful place with real nice options for pictures.

The falls need their own trip advisor listing!! This is off Sandwich Notch Road and in Sandwich Notch park but is a destination of its own. There is just a very short easy path that opens to the falls. The water is fairly shallow so you are absolutely able to swim & stand under the falls.Do not just stay at the bottom though, if you are nimble, you can go to the top where there are a series of smaller falls and areas of water to check out. We loved this spot & will be back, but never would have found it had someone not told us about it.Just so you are prepared, the road is a dirt road that looks like it is going to nowhere for about 3 miles or so and then you see the small wooded parking lot.
