You can't really tell what a great theatre it is inside. The performances are always reasonably priced and truly wonderful. There really isn't a bad seat in the house. It's a place I highly recommend for family outings or date night.

Small venue, adequate for the radio performance. Excellent production. Parking a concern. Limited space by the entrance. If looking for a restaurant visit the Patria directly across the Street.

Beautiful old theater with reasonably priced attractions of all sorts. Near good restaurants and lots of free street parking. Very nice ticket staff.

Need to get better production elements. Crowded, noisy, a bit on the expensive side.....Hard to locate

My first time here was a few years ago to see esperanza spalding, but was here over the weekend for a mint condition concert. The venue is very nice, great view from any seat really. Its not overly huge or extra wide, that compromises the seats view. BUT! i sat in the loge area and my goodness those seats are very narrow and no leg room. I am 5'6" and my knees were pressing the back of the seat in front of me. My poor husband, who just had knee surgery a few months ago, at 5'11" was in pain. We went to the box office to see if they had any floor seats available. They were gracious enough to switch our seats from the loge (mezzanine) to the floor. The floor seats are waaaay more comfortable! They give you more room all around. I will definitely go again because like i said the views from any seat is great, but for me, ill make sure to get floor seats for sure!!

We went to the Hamilton Theater in Rahway on New Year's Eve, to see Karp and Foley perform. They were a terrific blues act, playing in an intimate venue. The theater is fairly small, all the seats are perfect, and the sound is phenomenal. We met the director of UCPAC, Larry McCullogh, and we were struck by his warmth, charisma, and professionalism. Everyone should experience a performance, a play or concert or any other show at this beautiful stage, or at the larger theater on Main St. I'm looking forward to returning there soon!

Recently discovered a totally unknown (to us) theater venue in Rahway called The Hamilton Stage, on (you guessed it) Hamilton St just blocks from the Union County PAC. We went there for the Bullet Theater group's production of Assassins, an American history musical by Stephen Sondheim. The Hamilton Stage is a beautiful theater! Terrific stage. We went to four performances (because our son Dave was in the cast) and did not have a bad seat. Speaking of sitting, very comfortable seating. Nice bathrooms and a spacious lobby featuring red and white wine for sale. Terrific overall experience. It all felt brand new. We couldn't believe it. It is well hidden on a residential street, several blocks in from St Georges Avenue. Do yourself a favor if you like local theater. Go and see this place for yourself.

This is a great place in the heart of Rahway. I saw Jay Black there. It is a small theater, very clean and the seats are well placed for good viewing. The venues are well managed and exciting. It was nice as afterwards you can meet the stars and get autographs. There is plenty of parking nearby. I recommend this theater!

if you are in the area, check and see what or who is playing here. A beautiful theatre built in 1928 that has been refurbished to its golden days. The theatre also has 2 smaller stages, the Hamilton Stage and The Loft. Top name celberties such as Kenny Rodgers, Vicki Kawrence, Engelbert Humperdink, Dickie Betts, and Pat Benatar are just a couple who have been on this stage. Dont miss this gem, a freindly staff and a terrific theatre.
