I've been here five times--once in the snow. There are 25 stations with two different shots at each station. All of the paths and stations are well-maintained. Some of the stations are elevated, and many are challenging. They are nicely spread out which is why a cart is nice to have. They have guns to rent if you do not have one. They also have golf carts to rent, but we have a gun cart (which most people do) because your gun can get pretty heavy after traversing the stations. There are female shooters--including me--and they welcome beginners. It's only $20 and $10 for young adults. Most shooters are polite and one never feels rushed through each station--NOT a place to rush! Make sure you have safety glasses, ear protection, leather gloves (optional). They also sell ear & eye protection there. Try it--it's a challenge and a fun way to spend the day.

I am just starting to get into Sporting Clays, this was my 3rd outing (2nd at Red Wing). This location is beautiful, and a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. You can choose between a round of 50 or 100, and almost all of the stations are automated. They even have loaner guns available for beginners.
