When you first walk into this brewery you might check and make sure you came to the right place. It is a remodeled physicians office or something and not much about the waiting room has changed! This is a very casual brewery as they don't have taps and people lined up for tastings. They have a single line with a chalkboard of beers and your choice of 6oz, 8oz, or 12oz glass. We didn't do the tour but it generally is an open room with all the brewing equipment and some picnic tables in the middle. They have a little area between the entrance and brewery where you can sign up for the tour or buy souvenirs. They have something for everyone, vengeful heart is great and they had a blonde that is good for those who enjoy lighter beer. It is in a garage type factory and chilly inside when it's cold out.

Our first stop on our Saturday brewery tour, Kane was located in an unexpected place. The office park looked wrong, but the signage was clear so we parked and went inside. We each got a flight and chose our favorites. I loved Deep Rooted, a wet hop IPA and the Overhead, an IIPA. Many of the beers had high ABV so we couldn't responsibly finish all the beer since there was no food and we had other places to go. We would definitely go back and plan better next time to allow for more imbibing.

Like most small microbreweries, Kane has some very good beer and some that in my opinion are not very good. They had two IPA's on draft, and both were very good, the blond was just average. The tasting room is only open on Fridays and Saturdays, so timing is important. If you want a flight of 4- five ounce beers it is only $6 which is a bargain, or they are $2 each. You can also purchase pints to consume on site and growlers to take home.

Hidden away in sleepy Ocean Township (Monmouth County) is a new brewery, Kane. Where it once offered tours of its small facilities, it now has standing-room only picnic bench warehouse sampling. As a non-beer drinker, I was amazed to see so many people drinking beer without a television in sight! The beer must be good, although I'm not one to be able to tell. There is an assortment of beer brewed there on the premises, and very knowledgeable servers. I bought a growler for a beer aficionado, and he was delighted.

Great beer, atmosphere and selection at this micro-brew. Highly recommend a visit if in Ocean Couny.

I've been to quite a few breweries and tap rooms and I've got to say that from the outside its a bit tough to find Kane and then you wonder what you are walking into since its in what appears to be an office building attached to a warehouse. -Once you walk through the doors though you see a nice bar setup before walking into the brewery room where there is a second bar set up. Very convenient and easy to understand whats on tap and pricing-Cool look to the room with barrels and all the stainless brewing equipment in view-I've had a bunch of the beers and haven't been disappointed with any

I'm spoiled since I live right down the street from Kane. Their beers traverse hop-heavy American IPAs, interesting Belgians, and even beers fermented with Brett strains. They've created a new taphouse on their production floor (in addition to their small taphouse adjoined), which is truly an interesting experience. Tours are every hour on the hour and include an intimate discussion. There are many picnic tables where you can bring your lunch as well. All in all, I'd highly advise visiting Kane (multiple times) and then checking out the revamped downtown Asbury.

This place is great. Hidden, no signage, step thru the wooden door and you are in television commercial. 2 serving stations, picnic tables, all indoors and away from our miserable weather. Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Don't forget to fill your growlers. Awesome beer.

Kane Brewing is a must visit for craft beer fans living in or visiting Monmouth County. I am fortunate that the brewery is only minutes from my house and have been visiting since they opened. They have several selections of beers on tap, and various styles so there should be something for every beer aficionado’s taste, unlike some breweries that cater more to the hop-heads.There are now two bars inside of the facility, the original tasting room bar and the second bar on the brewery floor. For first timers, I recommend the flight; four samples of beer for $4. Beer by the glass is also available for purchase, as well as growlers to go. Some of the beers on tap may be limited batches and will run out, so it’s a good idea to come early. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, eager to talk about beer and brewing. Guided tours of the brewery and brewing process are also available. The brewery is easy to get to and conveniently located close to Route 18 and the Parkway.I’ve seen the brewery continue to grow in popularity, and is a great spot to hang out with friends on a Friday or Saturday.

Went here on a Saturday with some friends. It's in an industrial park which feels like an out of place location for a brewery. They offered 4 beers for $4 but most of the limited editions were sold out.I asked to buy a snifter glass but they said "No" even though they had them on the shelves. Don't they want my money? They offered tours but the place is a garage with 2 doors so not much else to see.I'd go because of the location to Eatontown and Asbury but I wouldn't rush back.

It is so exciting to have a local craft brewery here that NJ can be proud of. Tours and tastings are available here. The beers are top notch in quality. Many of their beers have the Belgian flair but not all. Kane has grown steadily since opening in 2011 and continues to do an excellent job of expanding the visitor capacity, they just added another tasting area out in the brewery. Today they held an event that sampled a series of single hopped beers. Very fun and well thought out.
