This is just a great salon from the front of salon sales and makeup to the spa treatments, I just have not had a bad experiance.

I concur with the less than friendly reviews that were posted. There is no client-service at this salon and clients are treated like garbage. I was a client at this salon for 15 years and will never step foot in there again.I recently received a letter from Avanti offering 50% off next 2 service visits. I can only assume that the original thought was for customer retention after a service provider left the practice. The first time I tried to redeem the offer I was told the service was not meant to include a hair service. (Unfortunately, what they meant and what they wrote did not match.)The coupon does not state specifically what services, it just says 2 services. I argued this point with the manager and was told they would not honor it.Already having decided that I will not return, I took my teen child who needed a teen facial and went to use the offer. After receiving the service, I was told they would not honor the offer because my child had never used the service provider who had left. I however was the one purchasing the service. I again explained how poor customer service this was. (50% would have been $37.20) They made it very clear that they did not care. They'd rather lose a customer of 15 years than honor their word. I asked to speak with the owner. The manager refused to put me on the phone with him/her. I suggested that we settle the bill when the owner returns. The manager threatened to call the police and I said please do, as my 15 and 11 year old waited with me for the police to arrive. Quite frankly, disputing the issue with my credit card company will most likely be very easy as I have the written back up with the offer. I was however curious to see how far the establishment would go to poorly treat a customer of ~15 years. To my amusement, they did call 911. The officer explained this was not a criminal matter (which I knew) but rather a civil one and expressed how unfortunate the "customer service" experience was.I let him know I understood, paid the bill in full and let them know my intent to dispute it and to make sure the story was told in whatever venue was out there.How disgusting is all I have to say. This is a client- service establishment? I think not.

It's not a usual thing for men getting a pedicure and manicure on a regular basis but it really feels good. I have an issue with my foot that's how it started an I'm glad it did. Staff is super always satisfied Penny is my girl and espresso to so come and give it a try all you men women all ready know see you there

My friends gave me a gift certificate and had me experience Avanti Day Spa! OMG! I had a blast! U really enjoyed it and had a relaxing day! Great service. Nice place too!

Is Avanti expensive ? Yes, stratospherically so. Would I go there for a hair cut, brow waxing or highlights? Absolutely not; I go to a terrific local place for that; a place where I know the people and they know what I like. But for something special, indulgent and lavish, Avanti is perfect. A curtained doorway off of the busy hair- and nail salon area leads to the lovely day spa lounge. It is lit by a fireplace and furnished with overstuffed chairs and sofas that are plush and posh. "Brew your own" loose teas and nibbles are complimentary and use of the sauna and showers us included. We each had spa facials followed by pedicures. Both services were done by total pros who made the experiences incredibly relaxing and restorative. Service and personal attention were top notch. As they should be: the two facials and two pedicures, including tax but not including tip, were $300.00. So it is not something I would indulge in on a regular basis. But as a very special treat, it was extremely enjoyable. My advice would be to check out their website and to be familiar with the prices of the services before you go. As for me, I will be shameless in dropping hints to my husband and sons that a gift card to Avanti would be the perfect present for me.

We visited the spa for a girls' weekend outing, and got the mud razul treatment (which involves mud, a steam room, vichy shower, massages, and lunch). Everything about the spa is beautiful--everything was clean, all the furniture was plushy and cozy, and our robes were very comfortable. The staff was exceptional--one of our party lost an earring, and several staff members searched the entire spa until they found it! The massage was excellent, and the heated waterbed tables were so comfortable. I hope to go back again soon.The spa prices are a little high, but we found that with the razul treatment, the price was cheaper for a group. I would definitely recommend the spa!

I recently went to Avanti Day Spa for a haircut and highlights. I normally go to a neighborhood salon and decided to see if the grass was greener on the other side. It was not. Considering the prices they charge, I waited almost 30 minutes before I was taken back to get started. The place has the feel of a factory assembly line. There is nothing warm about it. I had my hair highlighted first and since they call themselves color specialists, I decided to let them steer me in the direction they felt was right for my hair. Then I was taken to another room to have further work done on my highlights and finally over to the stylist. I can say I got a nice haircut but it certainly was nothing that my current hair stylist can't do. As for the highlights, my hair is brown and now I look like I have highlights the color of a brand new penny. Not nice at all! When it came time to pay, I forgot to give them my 20% off coupon. When I got home, I noticed it in my bag and called them to see if I could come back and be refunded the 20%. They said no that I could use it next time even though it would be expired. Since I had 3 people working on my hair, I had to give out 3 tips and between that and the price of the cut and color, I ended up paying about $350.00. I can't imagine for what. I would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone thinking of going there. As for me, I'm going back to my tiny little neighborhood salon where I get personal service, I only have to tip one person, and I'm not paying for something that's as high as a car payment. The grass is green enough where I am.

Nothing more than a hair salon with a fancy name. Prices are outrageous. Service a C at best. Don't waste your money.
