zupko's tavern

This is a small place, but quaint. It's also attached to a movie theater. Only been there once, but we enjoyed ourselves because the clientele, was very friendly. Look forward to going back there again.

Cafe Dunellen Cinema is conencted to Zupkos Tavern. This is a dine in theatre that pre dates the AMC versions in the malls. Unlike AMC which were built to be a dine in theatre, Dunellen is an old movie house design in which they took out every other row of seats and put in coffee tables. Food is provided by Zupkos next door. You purchase your movie ticket and then inside, can order food from Zupkos which will be delivered to your own cinema table. Great pizza, wings, and yes, bear in the theatre. Sure AMC is better for those on a "date" night, but if you are a fmaily with kids, this is the place. Great time, great food at and at reasonable prices

I like the casual atmosphere here and the wings and fried banana pepper rings are delicious. It's a local place where regulars usually go.

Ok first off, they have a movoe theater that you can eat pizza and other foods and drink beer while you watch the movie. If that's not great enough, they have a bar alongside the theater, and you can go in and have their awesome buffalo wings or beer and pizza there. they have Guinness, and Sam Adams, and many others on tap, and an older crowd on Wednesday nights.A definate recommend-especially for the thin crust pizza- unlike anywhere else...A+++ p.s. this is a pub, so if you were the king of england in your last life, you may have to get off your high horse on this one...and slum with the common...lol

I've been going to Zupko's for years and it is a great place to watch a game, have some drinks and get a bite to eat. Their burgers are so good!!! The wings are amazing! Try the "Norty Wings", it's a mix of mild, scampi & teriyaki all on a wing. it sounds weird but you have to try it. They are my favorite wings now! The owner of Zupko's has done a great job updating and remodeling the bar area. They have outdoor seating and there is a movie theater attached to the tavern that shows mostly kids movies. You can order food and drinks from the tavern (you have to get the alcohol yourself). Every other row of seats has been removed & replaced with long tables for you to eat at. A really great idea! This place really is a gem and I'm so lucky to live so close to it!

Old time neighborhood tavern. Large center rectangle bar. Tavern associated with movie theater. Best food item is their Pizza.
