Having taken guided fly fishing trips in the Southeast, Northeast, Midwest, Southwest, Northwest, and Turks and Caicos, there are certain things I appreciate in a guide:1: Knowledgeable.....they know the river and how to get the most out of it.2: Professional3:Courteous.4: Patient....I can tie a lot of knots in a leader...5: Fun...this is most important...I've run the gamut in the past....had good guides that had a number of the above traits..and I've even had a guide that had none of them...he was horribleBut I had never had a guide that had all these traits...until I went fishing with Jessie from Land of Enchantment Guides....I booked the trip with Noah, the owner, and he asked questions and arranged a trip to my preferences.....and I get the distinct feeling that any of his guides would have been great...but Jessie was amazing....and if you are considering going fishing in Santa Fe, you should call these guys..
