Brought my wife here for her birthday in hopes of a nice spa experience and getaway. No such luck. First, because it's New Years Day, none of their great restaurants, where we've had great meals in the past, were open. Our choices for birthday dinner were the lounge (bar food), or room service. Room service showed up an hour and a half later, with cold food that had clearly been sitting around. The rooms are nice, and quiet, but the service is lousy. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived and were told we could just enjoy the resort.... Only there was nothing to enjoy. The spa was decent and we had good massages, but this is no resort. The service is worse than what you'd get at an average Hilton, which I won't stay at. Add this place to that list.

My bestie and I flew in late Fri (technically Sat) for a Sat/Sun conference of sorts. While we had an issue opening our door (2 separate sets of keys didn't work), maintenance came quickly and let us in. The room was very nice, but we didn't notice the view until the next AM. Wow. Just beautiful. We had a room overlooking the golf course and part of the mountains. Our room had a balcony and I spent as much time on it as I could. The conference rooms were very nice and the temp was balanced, which is hard for many large rooms to achieve. The light fixtures and other Southwest touches were done in good taste and not cheesy. The bathrooms were well maintained and clean. We ate the breakfast buffet which was pretty darn good and reasonably priced. We had one supper and lunch, ordering from the menu. The hotel boasts local and sustainable fare. This is not their strong suit. I have had much better food with these same claims right here in KC. This is really my only valid complaint. The customer service is bar none. Everyone was helpful and accommodating. The AM of our checkout the line at the front desk got long and this jazzy lady, probably late 70s dressed to the 9s, filled a bunch of cups with water and got a bowl of mints and offered to everyone in line. How thoughtful! It's the little things... My friend and I hope to come back and hang by the pool and try out the waterslide!

Beautiful views of the Sandia Mountains in the Santa Ana Pueblo, with cultural activities and a great pool for the kids. We loved the horseback riding, nature walks, live music, and the service was excellent! Perfect location for exploring the many beautiful sites in the Sante Fe/Albuquerque area.

This was our second trip to New Mexico and we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else! Top notch beautiful resort from the staff to the grounds Just beautiful ! So much to do! Professional Courteous staff just the best

We stayed there four nights and it was perfect. The decor is first class New Mexican western. The spa, pool and grounds were stunning and well maintained. The hotel provide many areas to view the Sandia Mountain range. The casino is a few miles away and there is no gaming atmosphere. Corn Maiden was excellent. If you go the Regency Club is more than worth it and arrange a mountain view room.

Our daughter was just married on Sunday and took my wife on Thursday to REST. Great place to relax everything you need is there, but most of all time at the spa or pool. The food was great. Regency room staff was great. Great retreat from the busyness of life.

So well staffed that the few requests they had not thought of were easily remedied. Most of the convention food was top notch, even steaks which are hard to do. Dessert was average. Breakfast delicious and pulled pork sandwich superb. Bathroom was a very large size without being a handicapped one. Far off the beaten path and combined with the piped in spa music was quite relaxing. Short but quaint running/walking paths with fitness stations to up the heart rate.

Wonderful time at the Tamaya. Hot tub outside was a relaxing highlight in the Wintry weather. Corn Maiden dinner was delicious. Shuttle to Casino was quick to arrive for pick up and delivery.

I live in Albuquerque and decided to take a stay-cation at Hyatt Regency Tamaya. What a wonderful decision. We came to the hotel before check in and did the 2 hour horse ride, what a treat! I would highly recommend this although next time i'll spring the extra money for a private ride. Front desk staff was wonderful, room was perfect, very clean. Also eat the brisket in the bar, you won't be sorry! We will be back :)

I visited Tamaya on a business trip. My company entertained a group of clients during Balloonfiesta. A gift bag was delivered to my room by the bell hop. I thought it was a corporate gift and later learned it was not. The bag that was delivered was not a corporate gift from my company. I assumed it was an error. However, during my abscence (day trip to Santa Fe) someone entered my room and took the gift items. I questioned the hotel and security and they claimed NOONE entered my room. They claimed to have done a security lock check and found that no one entered my room. This is completely false and extremely unprofessional and a security risk for anyone staying at the hotel. To claim that no one entered and not explain what happened to those items, although they were not intended for me, is unacceptable. I will refuse to stay at a Hyatt hotel in the future.

When we first booked the hotel I thought it would be a long drive from Albuquerque airport but it only took about 20 minutes. Although it's not far from the main road a couple of miles from the exit, once you turn into the long drive you would thinks your are in a secluded resort...which you are. Amenities are plentiful and luxurious, although the rooms are not boastful. Dinner at the resort was fantastic and the golf course (they have 2) we played was outstanding. Plan to stay there again next summer.

The Tamaya Mist Spa is mystical and relaxing. The sound of the "Spirit" flute playing ever so quiet in the background gives a feeling of peacefulness and rebirth.

Tamaya Mist Spa is very relaxing and luxurious. The short drive in to the resort and spa from the highway takes us worlds away in minutes and prepares us for the whole experience. The entire ambiance is perfect in keeping with the resort, it gently evokes all senses from smells to sounds to the sites. I love going for the day even by myself, but it's great for a romantic predinner facial and or massage with my husband in the afternoon to relax in the spa a while after our treatments and a lovely walk near the river before a lovely dinner...We've been as a couple several times also it's a great girlfriend spa experience or a wonderful overnight or two getaway.- I then include the pool and good water aerobics class,

We stumbled across this resort when we had to book a new hotel due to wild fires in the Jemez mtns. We loved it! We stayed 2 nights with our 3 kids ages 2, 5 & 8. They loved it! Great pool/water slide, lots of activities scheduled throughout the day & excellent pool area staff. They had lots of activities/contests going on poolside for the kids. The entire staff was incredibly helpful & nice. Beautiful grounds/views & spacious rooms. So glad we found this place. :)

This spa is top notch! Next time I will get an earlier appointment so I can spend hours there! I got the gemstone massage - very very good! Tara is the best! It was worth every penny! The facilities are impeccable - they have everything you could possibly need there - steam, whirpool, relaxation.... ahhhh!!
