This is a very nice gallery featuring Hurd family artwork. Michael came in and introduced himself which was a very warm gesture. Definitely worth the short side trip to get there.

The Hurd Gallery is a little hard to find, even with a map. However, the search is worth the effort. It is located in the tiny community of San Patricio, NM, which itself it hard to find. Once there you will find some original sketches, limited edition prints and prints of Peter Hurd and, his wife, Henritte Weyth along with works by their son Michael Hurd. There is no admission charge and when we were there the docent gave us a private tour.

The compound was owned by artist Peter Hurd and his wife Henrietta Wyeth-Hurd and is now managed by their son Michael Hurd. Wonderful original artwork and signed prints are also available. Some of the outbuildings are used as a B & B and the polo field out front is still used occasionally.
