sandia man cave

It's a very short 1/2 mile hike from the parking lot. There are two flights of cement stairs before you get to a steel spiral staircase up to the cave. Great views of Placitas and the back side of Sandia Crest. The cave is very small. There are several theories about the "oldest man" and how old the cave is and what was found in the cave.
