Los Poblanos is close to the city, but in reality, it is a world away. Gorgeous views of the mountains across the lavender fields in the mornings. The farm shop is a definite must visit there when I come to Albuquerque. Great products - very high quality lavender in the lotions, soaps and shampoos - try the spicy pecans - unbeatable. If they are out of a specific product you want - their shipping is reasonable and prompt. Love, love, love this place!

Los Poblanos is 5 minutes away from my home on Rio Grande Blvd. Whenever I need a dose of farm, history, animals, lavender, peacocks, or flowers I go and breathe in. The farm store is great, the food fantastic, the rooms to die for. It is worth a trip for the family just to see what we are loosing. Thanks you to the Rembes for keeping the farm in working order.

This is a lovely place to visit with fields of lavender, some farm animals and nicely appointed rooms. The Inn is historically very interesting although the gardens look to be in need of some weeding. the pleasant surprise, if you can find him, is Albert the albino peacock! absolutely gorgeous, who knew there was such a thing as an all white peacock!!!Nice historical place to visit adjacent to the Rio Grande.

Wish we could have stayed or eaten here but they were filled up. We attended the Lavender Distillation workshop (10$). I'm not much of a flower person or a perfume person but this was really interesting and now I really understand why lavender oil is so expensive. The setting was a little uncomfortable as the morning heated up and I was happy to have scored a chair w/a back but there was enough room and it was fun to be in a really old farm room. The lecturer didn't really lecture but casually took and answered many questions from our group. He was very well informed and when he didn't know an answer he was quite honest (all good). Our group was rude and would start having side conversations so they would miss his answers and he would get the same question at least 2x. He would try to keep everyone on track and had to ask a few times for attention - he was way too nice about it but I understand his reluctance to get after them. Overall an excellent workshop. The Farm Shop had some nice items that we indulged in. We walked around the grounds afterwards and peeked into some rooms. Would love to stay here in the future.
