Cigano-Gitano
Stayed in our RV at Storrie Lake State Park overnight while in-transit. We arrived late and left fairly early after the high season was over. The lake is beautiful. Pull-through campsites are very nice and most (not all) have electrical and water hookups. Each has a very attractive ramada that should provide refuge from wind and sun. At the other end of the park are back-in campsites, which is where we stayed. These aren't to be recommended ... all backed-in against a curb with minimal spacing on a gravel pad that is combined with the boat-launch marshaling area. I suppose these campsites would be OK if one's interest was more boating than camping. We were not aware when we camped that all water had been shut-off for the season and the RV dump station was out-of-service ... sort of a bummer, but for one night not a problem. The ranger staff was very helpful.Bottom line: Next time we will plan better, will absolutely stay in a pull-through site and may try to find a boat!
