I have to go to this fabulous museum every time I go to Cody. The collection of Western art is spectacular and I love the view out of the gallery window onto the statue with the mountains in the background.Don't miss the Sacajawea statue in the lovely garden just outside the snack bar.

The art works available to view are astounding in quality and quantity. Don't overlook a single one! Part of the BBHC's complex of 5 museums, even the children will be drawn in and enjoy an ART museum. GO GO GO GO GO!

This is a nice museum and one of the 5 museums in the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. It is full of delightful western-themed art with subjects of Yellowstone, the Plains Indians, animals, and cowboys. One of the best parts of the collection is the Remington bronzes. Remington is famous for his energetic cowboys and horses and they have quite a few very nice pieces. They also have a replica of his workshop and some of his paintings.

Part of the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, this is one of five museums under one roof---and it is not to be missed. The paintings truly are exquisite, and the sculptures are masterful. A great place to contemplate the "taming" of the Old Wild West---and how it has changed since the 19th century.

Just a fantastic array of Western art from landscapes by Wyeth, Russell and bronze cowboys by Remington. It even included some abstract new art. The docent was excellent. There is the famous bronze horse outside the gallery window on the 400 acres of land Mrs. Vanderbilt Whitney donated to the museum.

Posto all'interno del Buffalo Bill Historical Centre,e' la parte dove troverete le pitture ispirate al west. Forse la meno interessante del museo.
