silver dollar bar

The Silver Dollar has three different environments. The old bar, the outside patio and new bar with stage. We were listening to the band in the new area of the bar (very good band.)This area has no character. We did not stay long..too many very drunk people. It was 11PM. We did not eat any food.

Great watering hole with a little history. Pool tables and friendly people and bartender. Drinks seemed reasonably priced and it wasn't crowded or noisy (granted, it was February).

Great burgers (bison or elk). They are very large in size with all the trimmings. Onion rings, fries or side salad are offered with the burgers. We tried the onion rings & salad. Both were delicious. Good place to eat or just have a beer.

A well-known hole-in-the-wall sandwich and beer joint, advertise the best burger in the west and they mean it! It's a hand-shaped patty on a toasted bun with all the fixin's, anything just about you could ever ask for, good French fries for for the weight-conscious, an optional salad. Love their bleu cheese dressing on the side. They use the thick-cut cured bacon...... yum! Good food at great prices and the wait staff are pretty nice too. Oh, and they have a courtyard dining area outside in the heart of Cody so you can watch the tourists.......... or be one!
